Hopefully the price of copper will get back above $3 sooner !!

Commenting, John Peters, Managing Director, Strategic Minerals said:

"The SML Board is exceptionally pleased with the recent progress LCCM has made towards the recommencement of copper production, with the start of the refurbishment programme. The prospect of the plant being ready ahead of schedule provides an opportunity to start copper production potentially earlier in the first half of 2019.

Not just that wisteria but they mention earlier commencement of production at LCCM. A cracking update...Missed by many as released 45 minutes after normal service....

Mkwarriors, my first buy was at 2.09p earlier this year.
I have bought a few dozen more times since, so the average is much lower, however happy to add when I see value and am able, I have just done so for the second time today.

I really like this Company, I have just listened to PW on Vox podcast and again he re-iterates the under-valuation.

This will change one day, as drill results like these continue to back up the case.

Mk,

IMHO, it is the Brexit uncertainty that is influencing the share price and other small cap miners.

Just frustrated tout, bought at 2.1p and not sold a share on the rise to 3p and back to 1.17p. Just want the true value to be reflected here. Not intending to sell at least till bod's 5.5p options but who knows if I will need my money tomorrow

mkwarriors,

With the LCCM assay results due and not arriving, this would have drifted down anyway (look at recent trading within a barren news patch). So we have lost nothing by him telling us to expect them to be delayed, it is out of their hands anyway.

Not really sure what people are worried about, unless you wanted to sell tomorrow or in the near future then all that has happened is the Redmoor project has just got better and the drill results can prove that.

For most long termers that is all they should be looking at (the current share price does not matter), for others it has given another chance to add at these levels.

Problem is that due to mentioning the delay in Lccm assay results it gave certain traders time to sell and bring the price down on a day that we received a superb rns and should be up

Kael,

If you listen to the interview and previous ones, you will know that JP is very good at giving us as much information as possible (the BoD here are far better than most other Small Cap BoDs for this).
I think Leigh Creek was mentioned so he could point out the assay results were delayed and would be another couple of weeks. So they are not going to announce anything until those are back and provide proof of their initial thoughts.

You and others jumped onto the placing bandwagon, he does not mention a placing at all. Any BoD worth their salt would be planning forward for all alternatives and funding the developments is part of that. I don't want him to hide from that just to appease a couple of traders, I want to be kept abreast of matters as much as possible.

Basically you seem to say that JP shouldn't have said anything else today in case investors took it as a negative.....I would rather we as investors knew thanks....

Some didn't like it and sold, others did and are taking the opportunity to buy. That is a market and the best markets are ones where as much information as possible is in the open and being discussed....

So have they found a copper sulphide deposit at Rosmann East??

I posted this on another site earlier....

Think a few are panicking.......Today 10:42

I cannot agree to the positions of some on here and I question their previous thoughts.

How do you think that SML are ever going to move things into production without needed further funds??? Cobre and LC production can pay for ongoing exploration drilling and keeping the lights on at HQ. But the building of a mine/plant on some of these sites will cost over and above that.

I think the interview today was positive and candid. I don't understand why some are spooked by it, especially those that were ultra positive about it yesterday.

I don't think they have a specific fundraise planned but it has to be part of their thinking and from that interview, it seems there is something at Leigh Creek that is a little bit special.....Rosmann East.

Check out AB in the Proac interview on 19th October 12.40 in. He wants to say more.
Check out JP today tlking about Rosmann East 5.10 in.

He then goes on to say there may be a gap between the heap leach production and other things and that this would reduce the working capital needs which would in turn make it less likely to need extra funds. Of course with all of the projects going forward at once there may be a need to raise some extra funds to bring things forward, any Director should say that as that is the reality. I would rather that than the lies we have all had to put up with in other AIM companies as Directors say no need to raise followed by a raise.

I think a certain few posters are trying to spook the rest as they trade it for a few tenths of a penny.

Leigh Creek looks very positive and the more you look into Rosmann East the more interesting it gets. Roll on the assays, have they got a copper sulphide asset??? If they have then that is why they are having to rethink the forward work programme at Leigh Creek.

Kael: I mentioned this to JP in an email this morning. He responded saying and I quote:- "happy for someone to confirm my comments that currently there its no intention by SML to raise equity, especially at these low levels".
Hope that reassures.

Kael,

I don't think he mentioned a placing, that was down to the punters like you.

The drop is down to two punters selling between them 7.5m shares and wittering on about 'delays' and 'placings'.

Watch the interview again, but before you do so, empty your bladder, then you may feel more comfortable about what is actually said....

JP needs to stop giving interviews to a punter site. Mentioning delays and placings on the same day as delivering outstanding results from drilling is not good management practice unless deliberate. Placing on the way, keep the price low.
