Option for 10p in four years, they've brought that forward by six years

Directors taking up options at 1p (which is very close to current price), so little dilutive effect....
Comments again this time from JP suggesting newsflow will start shortly....

Agree plasybryn, and looking forward the price of copper is looking strong so hope the leigh creek copper mine project goes without many hitches.

"We are now at a point where I believe the Company's valuation versus its prospects are perhaps at their most divergent and I look forward to assisting in closing that gap in the near term as we continue to progress our strong portfolio of assets."

Buy some then? Its even more divergent today.

Sensible appointment. I rate Peter Wale. Got plenty of skin in the game and therefore should be aligned with our current pain!

MM dropped the price at 13.38pm , is there a large sell due to be printed at 14.38?

Edit: apparently not.

With AIM stocks its what isn't said that is at least as important as what is said.

H1 2019 isn't mentioned, which makes me suspicious of further funding will be needed.

Don't forget there's $2.4m G&A to fund as well as the project funding.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into today's RNS.

Just my suspicious nature regarding AIM stocks.

At least SML is generating cash.

Jeez, they give a great RNS and are obviously trying to provide reassurance to the market and you pick up on semantics. Currently means that at the moment they expect there to be a surplus at the end of the year. Cobre sales will not stop at year end so I can't see any funding gap in H1 2019.

At one point people will have to stop looking for any possible negative and start to believe in some positives....

No one can predict the future with guarantees. Commodity prices could change etc. Many variables.

Is there going to be a funding gap in H1 2019?:

Note the word "currently"

... the Company's expectation it will fund its 2018 development expansion plans from internally generated funds and, currently, expects to have surplus funds at the year end."

Commenting, John Peters, Managing Director of Strategic Minerals, said:

"... the Leigh Creek Copper Mine which is expected to return to production and deliver substantial cash flows for the Company in the second half of 2019.

They said at the AGM they have cash for contingencies if LC doesn't go exactly to plan - ie normal hic-ups.The Chairman was very specific about this requiring JP to confirm which he did.Let's hope the DD they undertook was spot on .

yes for the drilling and assaying of the LCCM. If it turns out the heap leach needs a rebuild with a view to nearly doubling production capacity then that's a substantial cash requirement. IMV.

Sure they have said the cash is available for all projects this year including LCCM

Before share price improvement occurs, SML management need to show that the LCCM heap leach is as they thought,ie wrongly built and then demonstrate that they have the cash to rebuild the heap leach.

The weak sellers here are making same mistake as sellers of ARCM. Those guys must feel sick on the ARCM RNS this morning. I reckon we will have same situation here at some point!!

It's ok I have found it, can't stand people like that. Can't say I am best pleased with the current share price myself but I don't go around spouting rubbish like that.
