Maybe it's a debt/dilution thing !

I thought Stp would just stick with what they had and consolidate, make
money, improve cash flow and thus improve their balance sheet.

If they are buying something big then how will they fund it ?

MM will not let you buy, if they try to drop the price, get in fast. The company they are buying could be huge ie 1 to ten times todays value.!!!!!!!!!!11

So, we can only assume that the recent increase in buying has come from people who had knowlege of the potential acquisition. This would imply that they believe the purchase will be very good for STP.

Online limits:

Buy 2,500 @ 1.79p
Sell 250,001 @ 1.76p

Not sure whats the point of keeping the buy limit so low, just mark it up to 3p and be done with it ;0)

Online limits are fantastic, i dont know long they can sustain
this kind of rise but will limits this good it may well go higher
until there is sutained profit taking.
