CropX competitor

"Arable’s Mark 2 is already available to order on the company’s website for $1,595 plus a $699 per year subscription"

Interesting to note the prices for CropX this from last August

"Sensors cost from $600 to $899 apiece and there is a $275 yearly subscription per sensor"

I actually quite enjoy the volatility .Been doing this for 30 years so seen it all before{In respect to the markets obviously} but in a different guise(Iraq War,Dotcom bubble,2008 crisis etc etc)Have been adding to certain positions and will probably open the Prosecco and thank Mr Trump accordingly for the opportunity. Most importantly is to believe in your research and the the directors of the companies you have invested in.Nothing has changed from Starcom's point of view maybe some small disruption in the supply chain I don't know but that's what the directors are there for to address any problems and thankfully they are fully invested in the business. With the options vesting in a few weeks time I cannot see that they will want to have taken a pay cut for nothing so remain very optimistic...

We're currently living in unprecedented times. All this will soon blow over once the epidemic has peaked. In the meantime , simply relax. If the current bloodbath and doom mongering gets too much then take a break for a couple of weeks and come back when the worst has passed. The share price has held up quite well considering what's happened elsewhere. Just view this as a buying opportunity if you're so inclined

Well traders again making a quick buck( can't blame them) but it can be irritating for a LTH.What we need now is an RNS from this level to lock them out and break the cycle. One can only hope!!!

I suspect it's a combination of factors. Last night's late buying has continued into this morning and judging by the size and frequency of the buys it's either a HNW individual or possibly an II seeking to establish a position. Apparently STAR were very well received at last weeks round of Fund Meetings and they even had to throw in additional sessions on Wednesday. That suggests that II's are now beginning to sit up and take notice. Also, the company is allegedly close to landing several orders with various different global partners. These will be material orders and when they arrive and are RNS'd by the company, i rather suspect it will be transformational for the share price

The strength in the share price into the close yesterday looks very significant to me.Could be they either have a significant buy order or orders in the system or news is not far away. All Index futures looking strong so lets see what that late turnaround was all about.

It's been rumoured for some time that there is some excellent news expected soon based on Star's collaborations with its various global partners. Last weeks series of meetings with Fund Managers is reputed to have gone down very well and recent strong buying may give some credence to this. It's thought that the inflexion point may have been reached and the recent upturn in shares traded may go some way to signifying this. The financials look good with the company having recently announced it is EBITDA positive. Also, news coming from last weeks meetings with Fund Managers is that a placing will not be required to fund future growth as the company will have access to various forms of Debt Finance which will help prevent dilution of shareholdings. All in all the company appears to be on a much firmer footing and a couple of material orders - which is being rumoured- may prove to be the catalyst required to see this company enter an expansionary phase which could see a rerating of the share price The future is eventually looking to be promising

Nothing new in results or in the proactive video that we did not already know but amazing what a bit if exposure does to the share price of a £5m company. Let's hope momentum continues. I am particularly keen on the agritech angle, an epidemic won't stop the farmers from farming!

Partnership with CropX from the interview is very illuminating.Hardware and software platform all Starcom so if you are a believer in CropX you are a believer in Starcom.
Amazing that Bosch invested in CropX before Starcom came along in 2017.Then Starcom announces tie up with CropX then Bosch !! Maybe we find out some answers in 2020.

Options for salaries vest in April and now out of closed period (If all the news has come out that is)lets see if the directors again put their hands in their pockets.

Nothing new in results but pleased they got them out early and they look pretty good.Pleased to see this paragraph but would still like to see equity investment at the right price from one of our partners
"The Group has accumulated operating losses over the past few years and is dependent on securing financing or infusion of capital. The Group is convinced that sufficient loan facilities are available to cover its cash flow requirements."
