31/1/2020 12:56 | Lets hope so & maybe there are similar aquisitions for Cropx in the pipeline. | rogerrail
31/1/2020 08:57 | Thanks Roger,The opportunity seems huge for CropX and their No win No fee approach must be very attractive to farmers. The Cropmetrics buyout was a shrewd move giving them access to partners/Dealers and credibility within their regional market.Hard to gauge how much this is going to give to Starcom in revenue this year but with ICL financially backing CropX their rollout could be significant. | riddlerone
30/1/2020 22:27 | thanks Riddler, keep it coming.agtech set to become a hot sector. | rogerrail
30/1/2020 19:22 | CropX been busy,Look at all those CropMetrics Partners/Dealers | riddlerone

27/1/2020 07:25 | The partnership is strong but we still don't really know the numbers going forward.CropX have been very aggressive for a small startup and are well funded so lets hope they come good. Not sure about trading update if you are looking at last years date they don't seem to follow the same pattern every year but should be interesting when it does come. | riddlerone
26/1/2020 10:57 | Not a great many routes into agtech investment at the moment. Hopefully next results update shall give some indicators as to the potential of the cropx tieup. So I am currently holding a small positon until I get greater visibility. I believe there is a trading update on 29th Jan. (Wed) | rogerrail
20/1/2020 15:53 | orm expecting a great week, with the seller out!Mcap of 3 mil can not justify 5.5 mil cash and another asset without debts!Feel Sorry for previous shareholders who got the -70% drop after the sell of tungsten mine, but cash is twice the mcap without debts! | costax1654x
14/1/2020 18:29 | By Maxim Perry, VP Sales & Product Starcom Systems Starcom has been working in the Connected Motorcycle field for a while; taking state of the art fleet management technology and applying it to the specific needs of motorbikes. A study released by Markets And Markets forecasts huge growth in this sector, from US$39 million in 2019 to US$912 million by 2027. According to the report, that mentions Starcom, the growth will be fueled by both demand and technology globally and especially in APAC (Asia Pacific), North America and Europe. | riddlerone
14/1/2020 07:25 | I also make that 12.5k sensors to possibly upsell into | riddlerone
13/1/2020 16:49 | With Thanks to GLR on Twitter Would expect Cropx to upsell into their customer base ASAP.More positive news for STAR | riddlerone
18/12/2019 10:42 | So this is a few years old but gives an idea of market size. Also each Cropx sensor covers 40 acres. U.S. Sees Fewer, Larger Farms In 2017, there were approximately 2.05 million farms across the country, down from 12,000 the previous year, according to the USDA. The amount of land used for crops, pastures or grazing declined 1 million acres—to 910 million acres—from 2016 to 2017. While the average farm size has been increasing approximately two acres per farm each year since 2012, the number of farms is decreasing. Today, the average farm size is 444 acres. | riddlerone
18/12/2019 07:25 | The best bit from the above article " Farmers will be able to participate in a 2020 pilot program that will feature an irrigation practice prescription and a Growers Edge money-back guarantee that reduces the risk of adopting CropX technology". If they can repeat this funding model across the US offering the same money back guarantee its a Win Win for Starcom. Will be more than happy to take a large portion of their recent round of $10M funding | riddlerone
17/12/2019 18:47 | Another CropX partnership | riddlerone
14/12/2019 14:51 | Pilat Media went through similar stabilization then growth then sold with the same three Directors | riddlerone
11/12/2019 16:21 | Nice News for CropX Agricultural analytics company CropX has announced a partnership with Costa Rican agroforestry equipment vendor FarmAgro to provide satellite-powered precision agriculture tools to farmers in Central America. "Its perhaps no surprise that after deployment in Central America reaches critical mass, FarmAgro plans to expand CropX distribution to the entire Latin American region. Nor is CropX the only company bringing wireless communications to farming. It’s not often that we cover agriculture in these pages but that may change as the use of satellites and IoT brings agriculture and telecommunications ever closer together". | riddlerone
04/11/2019 15:51 | Riddlerone, I have been watching this share for a long time. I got in at around 1.30 I think a few weeks back? Gutted I missed the sub 1p which was how/when I'd planned to get in. I feel there is a lot of upside to this stock. The director in an interview as I recall talked about doubling the market cap over the next 6 months but don't quote me on that though so that kind of confirmed I should buy in now. Keep up the good work Riddlerone! | britstox
04/11/2019 13:39 | Thanks Bristox much appreciated. | riddlerone
04/11/2019 12:27 | Haha riddlerdone. Don't worry I check everyday but don't post to often. So thank you for your posts. They do get read. | britstox
