14/3/2005 23:42 | Stanley Gibbons, had it not been launched as communitie.com as I bought it at 15p in open market, but had it been launched recently with a larger market cap and exactly as it exists now in its marketplace with its stock and name to be honest could support a value 4X this if it made its special dividends even half of them simply its standing dividend. My dividend last year was 70% of the cost of my stock 29 months earlier. I think this is just wildly undervalued based on the origins of SGI and its price as communitie.com I saw a tip sheet claiming it as a ten bagger only yesterday; nothing like that to put people off. I made what 7-8 bag but I see it as a 3-4 timer from here Now as to LTS I really don't know that results tomorrow will not lower it down towards what I paid of 50p approx but if it does buy cos they don't want you to they want to buy more back and the likes of me have created unwelcome interest in their stock they did not want in the limelight. Read the chairman's statement carefully when it comes out tomorrow for signs of playing down the future investment potential of LTS to us | ![]() mryesyes

14/3/2005 15:44 | The setting up of the fund, i feel will be a key milestone this year and will vastly increase SGI's capacity, especially at a global level. i know of no other such fund. | ![]() kael
14/3/2005 15:42 | Went out for a few hours. It was down 0.5p then. Just back & we are up 5p - I must go out more often!! Some strong buying seemed to come from nowhere - getting in ahead of the AGM perhaps. I sold some at £1.10, so £1.30 would be next milestone but perhaps higher if AGM strong. | gregory0106
14/3/2005 15:27 | Looking good for a continuation of the brweakout...anyone here? | ![]() kael

11/3/2005 18:16 | Nice result on SGI Mr yes assuming you are still holding. I always seem to sell to early or hold too long. Is there a price you are waiting for on SGI or will you just wait untill you want the money back? | gregory0106

10/3/2005 22:51 | boom boom, well someone had to. mryesyes. you might need a pacemaker when LTS results out. some years they've been rather "shocking". | ![]() getscenic
10/3/2005 22:18 | Investing in undertakers is probably the worst strategy you could "undertake". They're not exactly exposed to positive sentiment are they. Or maybe they are... | ![]() kael
10/3/2005 22:08 | Well look if you make £3m profit on £10m turnover and pay a 10p dividend on your shares, the're not dear at £1 are they...........where You could always hedge your bets that the old crones buying these stupid stamps will die and be buried by DTY which owns half the UK undertakers. That said... They had to turn over £351m to make £3m ...... bit closer to making a loss but similarly lacking in glamour So will they die or will they live. The biddies I mean.I bought both stocks and LTS st 49-52.1p a few weeks back too and if I do not die I will make money on all 3 stocks. OK? Enough just see & buy LTS results out 15th | ![]() mryesyes
10/3/2005 16:50 | Biscuit 2 Investors Chronicle A heavier internet presence should mean SG continues to make progress in 2005. The proposed investment fund should also get up and running. Good value. | ![]() andrewhbruce
10/3/2005 08:07 | I can confirm your comment about stamp prices on e-bay rising, but they are still a bargin compared to SGI prices (accepting SGI only deal in top quality) | gregory0106
09/3/2005 22:29 | Stamps sold on Ebay are steadilly going higher and higher, as a stamp collector I can verify this, Therefore it has to reflect on the Gibbons stamp quotations in their latest listed prices for stamps, and their portfolios... They are holding heaps of quality stock, as years ago they weeded out the poorer graded stamps.. Their venture into a Stamps Fund ,or the like ,,will attract large numbers of investers who were once collectors.....IMHO | ![]() abergele
09/3/2005 18:04 | Will be interesting to see the write up of results in the Shares Magazine and IC this week. Would be good to be tipped in one of them, I know it's a Shares favourite. | biscuit2
