Excellent results, although a great deal of the profit improvement has been due to margin improvement. I think that the web-site is the major growth driver going forward on this one, but it may take a couple of years.

amazing how these keep going up, it seems i was wrong on my last post or are they more than fully valued at present. It could be stock shortage.

I think it will be some time before you see this move upwards to any degree, they have a lot of issues to deal with before this moves again imo.

As I said, I thought it was time to take profits at these levels.

Wait until they start to pay a div.

I have been watching this company (plc), as with interest, of not only a collector, of stamps, but shares investor, but my interpretation of the options are that they are only redeemable between 10/04/95 amd 09/04/13. and subject to the shares performance, this being that it will probably have to be above 40p or the likes, then he can pay 18.75p for his allotment and then sell them any time during this period.

Todays statement seems a bit mixed to me.
At least they have let part of the spare space they had empty in the Strand.

6.5million hits but thats not customers. No comment about increase sales on the site.

Whats new ? This is just the sort of thing I expected a quick £6250. What next on the cards to dilute sharesholders value?

I dare say you have held quite a few that have just sunk but have you continued to hold and maybe even add in the hope of turning around rather that using a stop loss that small investors often either fail to use.

In this case I would suggest you take a deep look at the company accounts and review what value you put on them and how much is held by the directors.

i find it harder knowing when to sell than buy.
i have sold a couple of shares recently that just went on up
so not rushing anything here, i think these are still worth buying!

snape, no made my mind up, just putting a point of view to others that got in and have already made a fair % profit.
However,as I said no doubt worth holding in the longer term if you feel you cannot put your cash to better use elsewhere, as ever who knows. Maybe try Guiton for instance if you have longer term cash.

"On 10 April 2003 Richard Purkis, Operations Director of the Company, was granted an option over 100,000 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence each in the Company. The options are exercisable at a price of 18.75 pence per Ordinary Share"

This was on a day when the share purchase price was 26 pence!!!!

How can this be justified?

It looks like a taxable benefit to me!
