mgpp, you could already be aware that they have a huge data base to work from and could as you say attract huge numbers of clients. this data base, I understand, if I am correct, was shared from the former flying flowers when the company was split to form Flying Brands & Stanley Gibbons.

a lot of revenue could come from on-line business without increasing costs. In addition as regards sales, stamps are one of the few articles that costs so little to handle by way of postage and packing.

They seem very aware that by charging such small amounts for information they will no doubt increase the amount of clients using the service.

Do you know of any other company offering competition in the field?

Today I have received a communication from Stanley Gibbons inviting me to subscribe to their brand new on line catalogue system at the trifling cost of 4p per day. This could be a good moneyspinner for them if it catches on as it provides a facility to establish details of a collection on line and to get an up to date catalogue value. This should appeal to those who want to record details of their collections and value them.

Have you added yet ?

It is still attracting buyers by the look of todays trades and the slight rise in price so far.

Did they suggest any target price?

Elmfield, if you wish to do research on SGI a great deal of backgound can be found through what used to be Flying Flowers now Flying Brands.

As you no doubt have noticed last week saw a considerable increase in dealing although this share is not very liquid, may be worth a investment for those loooking for longer term growth and a possible return to div before long.

With the shares well off the lows and with rising profits and outlook this could indead become one of the companies to make real money through on-line trading.

Worth a look for penny traders, that are not looking for instant returns but possible long term value and growth.

Balance sheet looks good now.

As CME have changed the name of the business and the EPIC has altered I just thought I would point this out to anyone that may have followed it in the past.

They have renamed the business to the internationally know, Stanley Gibons brand.

it could be that they felt that having a dot com name was not good for the companies share price. We may now well see it rise in line with the prospects of the company which now seem very positive.
