Headlines in today Antiques Trade Gazette:

Mallett sells up in Mayfair and Manhattan. Dealership "no longer needs to operate from prestige premises"

etc.

So now we know from where some of the funding is coming from.

Been on to the Marketplace for the first time for ages.

Unless I am being stupid, the functionality remains awful. I do not think it is my computer but I have no pictures at all today. I cannot get the price filter to work. It seems jammed.

And I thought there was going to be the ability to search by SG number ? If you put in, say, 166, into the general search 20% of the entries are the stamp I want, c60% are the Scott number, and the rest is the search picking up £166 and $166 or other random uses of that combination of letters. I wonder what would happen if I searched for 201......

Anyhow, I am in Canada. If I put in 166, it does offer me a drop down but the only choices are GB SG166 or GB Sc 166......why when I am in Canada.

With no pictures, no decent search facility, little choice and extortionate prices.......back to EBay

Share price rising ahead of funding, always does, suspect they will try using the stock as collateral!

Looks like it just 'overfell' to £0.60

The normal

It happens

The share price will now 'Do what it wants to do'

Regardless of us.....!!

Will it get back to £2.00+......Yes........When....I have no idea..!

It's all good fun, Anyway

Agree SG stamps were always 70 per cent over inflated compared to market place.

bookb,

Do not agree.

As we move into the period of asset price inflation, assists like stamps and coins will become valuable.

Some big trades went through today, looks like a couple of buys well over £200,000, I still wonder if this is going to get taken out or some form of management buyout on the cheap, some of the things that have happened with SGI during the last few months are pretty fishy imho.

On the face of it the board didn't seem to fussed about the decline in the share price, i.e. no director buys during the last few months despite the huge fall, also they could have done a placing a few months ago when the price was north of £2, they should have been aware of issues with trading.

This needs to be taken private imho, question is at what price, most shareholders will be under water at below £1.50 imho.

Shanklin, assuming they're insured, a fire would be good news.

HANG ON CHAPS THEY HAVE NOT SAID THEY NEED MONEY.
They say..........

In response to a number of unsolicited enquiries from shareholders and other investors, the Board is considering a number of fundraising alternatives to reinforce the working capital position prior to the year ended 31 March 2016.

Sounds to me someone is looking at taking us out.

LEVEL 2 has been strange for two weeks ...........even worse now.

They made a profit at half way and forecast a 5 million one in second half.
Anyone seen a t/s saying we will NOT hit targetS

Stop panicking. There is a story developing here.

Assets are only assets if you can liquidate them, and clearly they cannot liquidate the stamps at the rate they need too. So a fire sale maybe?
