08/7/2010 10:18 | have to say Van, I think 'barf' has been holding these a good while longer then most... | wolterix
08/7/2010 10:13 | Patience child! Rome wasn't built in a day. V. | vaneric
08/7/2010 10:10 | It's not the issueing, it's the having something to issue that concerns me. As we know SEO have not issued anything for over 3 years now about any decent orders etc. Initially they used to say 'we don't want to repeat the old management style of empty positive statements' and we could all understand that but after 3 years the question is WHY haven't they got anything to shout about? ......and we're not far off what happened to MDX as it is! over 90% loss in value in 3 years - only 10% left. So, if SEO don't want to make those mistakes.......what did happen to the substantive product launch in 2009 Q4? if SEO don't do hot air where is that launch? | barf2
08/7/2010 10:04 | Can I suggest barf2 that you go over to the MDX threads abd see what happens when a company board issues regular glowing updates and RNSs. V | vaneric
08/7/2010 09:34 | Yet another day of silence from the company.Whatever happened to those successful trials? probably the same as the substantive product launch that Standen told us about last August that never happened. It can't be them holding back news until it is AIM listed because that is not their choice. If they had signed any decent orders or made significant progress with the eternal patent dispute they would have to tell the markets. They haven't so they haven't. Same old, same old. | barf2
07/7/2010 11:39 | Van is right. If you have a trading account [or are happy to set one up] as opposed to your ISA then your broker can tansfer the stock out of your ISA into the trading account. You will lose the ISA benefits blah, blah, blah and will have to pay some dealing costs etc [effectively selling and rebuying but they do generally offer a discount]but it can be done. This is what will happen if you don't give them adequate instruction. If you haven't got an alternative trading account then your ISA stock will just be sold on the day. | barf2
07/7/2010 11:20 | Sirmark, I got the impression from some of the reports that nobody actually needed to sell their ISA shares, that the brokers could just move them out of ISA for you on a free handling basis. Never had an ISA myself though, just an outsider looking in. V. | vaneric
07/7/2010 10:46 | 10 million+ dumped and they only got just over .10 for most of it! Someone doesn't believe maestro's latest ID or the board of directors. I think it is the fact that they did the usual of suggesting good news coming soon just to get through he AGM [same as every year]and then failed to follow it up with anything whatsoever. Those who bought into the open offer are already 20% down on their investment and still diddly squat from the board. Most of us thought that when they gave away a massive part of our investment to generate more cash, it would be the low point and the share price would start to rise once they got it away. Not many of us expected them to, once again, give up any momentum they had and go silent again. Welcome to the wonderful world of the new SEO/BIOM/AIM where all those promises of regular website updates turned out to be the same as all the promises of improved communication that we've always had. An absolute crock! | barf2
07/7/2010 10:36 | Last of the forced sellers coming through IMO, Has anyone here still got stock in an ISA and have they notified you that it will have to be sold??? and what is the procedure if you don't sell of your own back ?? sirM | sirmark
07/7/2010 10:33 | They say imitation is flattery or something like that !!! I'm flattered however I'm sorry but as I post on iii as that user name I would ask you change it, if you don't mind !! SirM | sirmark
07/7/2010 09:17 | 'Kin rampers! ;-) | barf2
07/7/2010 08:49 | Hargreaves Lansdown are the best broker I have come across but they do charge fees. I use Selftrade mostly because they were simpler to use but HL have improved their ease of use. HL have won a lot of awards in the past and I have seen posters recommend them on advfn many times before. | dr jekyll
06/7/2010 17:08 | I don't do many trades now Barnie but I used to when I was with the Halifax, their system was always down when I wanted to trade so a good few bargains were missed. V. | vaneric
06/7/2010 16:32 | I have never had any trouble with Halifax | barniebear
06/7/2010 13:43 | Did the 'run from Barclays' and the 'run from Halifax' bit some time ago, now thinking of 'run from Selftrade' since they added a 'take it or leave' annual fee. V. | vaneric
06/7/2010 11:53 | TDW isn't bad as there is a credit facility that lets you T-trade if you want to.They are generally OK but when they mess up it is usually in a big way. Some server problems with them now and again but of all the brokers I've used the have been the best.{it might be TDW you are trying to get away from!] Run as fast and as far as you can away from Barclays. | barf2
06/7/2010 11:31 | Off topic. I'm thinking of dumping my online broker, any recommendations for a better one? V | vaneric
06/7/2010 11:28 | I see PLUS are only paying .112 now. Shall we have a sweepstake on how long the silence goes on for this time? Whatever happened to that trial that was successfully completed? All gone very quiet, usual SEO. I'll start.I think the silence will continue until the very last day they can get away with it before they are legally obliged to update the markets just like they have done for the last 3 years. So end of August for me.Goodness knows what the share price will be then. | barf2
05/7/2010 21:29 | Have posted a broker note on PLNT bb, 5.5p to buy, 19p target. | themoneymonster2
05/7/2010 18:24 | daw they had no option,it was not a company decision, they no longer qualified for the listing. | morgannn |
