FCA plans fees shake-up for asset management industry

"Shares in fund management firms Jupiter Asset Management and Standard Life fell nearly 2pc after the FCA’s announcement, although other fund houses including Aberdeen Asset Management and Alliance Trust held steady."

I don't hold any others in this sector but pru has done very well of late.Sl. Will get back up there once the bigger players have loaded up enough.

News in TRC yesterday brings it a step closer to liquidation, with asset sales completed for a significant premium and an intention to distribute proceeds.

It looks like a distribution of about 5p will be made shortly, giving yesterdays buyers a free ride on the final asset, which would seem to be in the books at 1.5p.

I do hope so. I have a trading account and isa's loaded with SL. Not bothered by the daily swings but I am addicted to watching them.Bring on the divis and £5 share price
