Posted at 06/8/2021 14:23 by spectoacc No that's true, and doubly hard with unlisteds/minority stakes. But hard to believe only worth 3.38p reading down the list. And RAB aren't paying £2.2m because they think it's only worth £2.2m - can see them winning from this. But - SPPC can't continue as it is, and shouldn't have continued anywhere near this long, and will be glad to see the back of it. |

Posted at 02/10/2020 08:07 by russman Is it a condition of the founder shares/carried interest that SPPC has to be listed. |
Posted at 19/8/2020 05:22 by flyfisher Meanwhile the Brazil Potash fundraising has commenced. The prospectus is on the SEC website. Seeking $50m at $4p/s. Dalmore is broker to the issue.Booked at $2.5p/s in SPPC accounts, will it succeed or fail, will there be an aftermarket that SPPC can sell into? Failure should lead to a write down, success and sale into an aftermarket would lead to a significant distribution to holders. Which will it be? |
Posted at 27/6/2020 12:55 by russman There is no restrictions on transfers. Options:-Talk to Shore Capital direct to see if there are off-book deal. Ask for a certificate to take to a broker than would sell. Complain to SPPC directors stating there is not a fair and orderly market. You cannot sell, I cannot buy. Pointless being listed. |
Posted at 13/6/2020 05:34 by flyfisher Sppc have previously commented that it could lead to a euro 700k return. |
Posted at 12/6/2020 17:26 by zcaprd7 Could be worth a few quid, because OPP bought theirs in 2011, and wrote them down in 2017, when SPPC stepped in to invest? |
Posted at 29/5/2020 16:51 by hedgehunter2 These illiquid holdings, have been kicked around the market, and there are no bidders, for SPPC stakes being held, they keep saying not realistic offers, but do they have any offers? The realistic disposal of holdings maybe 3-5 years, once Covid, blows over, and companies, can start to trade, mean while the cash holding which is only real tangible asset is decreasing to run a zombie company. Accept losses, and write off as a punt, that went wrong, oh hope a pray. Market Cap, is a value, for a private wealthy individual who may play at taking time to unlock longer term punt, Mr Shore step forward. |
