DJT,

I think your expectations are wrong.

You say:

''There haven't been any significant contract announcements and most of the revenue for the Middle East contract was accrued last year!''

Do you really think that for a contract that was awarded just before year end 2017
most of the revenue was paid upfront ?? If only Middle-East customers did actually pay like that. They don't.

Thank you BillByrne for posting your earlier January discussion with ST, who stated SRT was not going to massively miss market expectations (admittedly that was then and we are not yet at 31st March).

I will go with ST over DJT for the time being.

Slightly o/t, but I wonder how much Brexit is affecting contract negotiations and signings in general on multi-year contracts, only someone I know said that it was affecting their efforts, because of simply creating doubts in the clients about the exact nature of import/export taxes, exchange rates and general conditions associated with the contract. Exchange rates always a problem of course.

I think its inevitable that every change in legislation creates more work, but when the change is not known in advance, it can't be easy. Whether that causes delays, or just more work, I don't know.

Where will the market price SRT shares when the SE Asia mega contract is announced? This is the one identified here in December, which requires SRT unique 3D as part of the specification. 50 p or above? Hope the rude doubters will have sold up.

DJT,

Think the fall yesterday was triggered by dropping under long term support of 30p. Todays rise was probably on the back of the web-cast - it has been known about for a long time but there was always a danger they could have cancelled it.

I'm expecting a profit warning for this year similar to the one for 2014. Revenue range £6m-£13m Previous warnings have often been accompanied by a webcast to calm the market.

The 2017/18 revenue forecast is £15m and 1H was just £2.9m so need £12m in 2H.

There haven't been any significant contract announcements and most of the revenue for the Middle East contract was accrued last year! So without further contracts Revenue probably around £6m but perhaps over £10m if they can get another MDM contract signed before YE (just 8 weeks away). IFRS 15 might impact?

all imo - and Market doesn't agree with me +7% today (after unexplained fall yesterday)
(How about Blockchain for AIS position data - now there's something to get investors excited?! only joking btw!)

The webcast is routine and was due ( just check back ... every 3 months )
I presume it must roughly coincide with a board meeting for SRT, when ST's back in the country!

webcast won't tell us anything material just more fodder for the sheep I guess! No need to wait until next week, just go back and look at any of the others, no difference.

Is this a webcast announcement because they have something to say or a reaction to the price dropping below 30p and the sound of disgruntlement on here?

Hopefully disgruntled shareholders will sell before the major RNS.

the last few webcast RNS announcements from SRT don't start with "Pleased". I keep hopeful!

I think you've all been taken for a ride here but live in groundless eternal hope because you were given a free pot of jam?

Maybe someone could ask SRT what the definition of 'imminent' means.

Whatever the web-cast brings SRT are to be applauded for their willingness to inform and interact with shareholders. They are an object lesson to other companies in this respect.
But the bottom line is the bottom line, hope they have some positive new as more 'imminent' stuff is going to be hard to swallow.

Unlikely to be a contract - as if in the bag now they would be obliged to announce now - so possibly more "we are working hard and lots of discussions are expected to finalise shortly in a positive fashion" but who knows !!

They all say that regardless of what is about to follow ! In the case of the large corporates, I suppose they are looking at their salary while saying it.

At least that's not true here.

The RNS does say they are "pleased to announce " which sounds positive ??
