Look carefully at the hardly known Invinity (IES), the world leader in liquid (ie non inflammable, very long life) liquid batteries. It has a string of large contracts on long delivery for Canada, California. Australia, Korea, and Taiwan all seminal i.e will each spark off clusters of big new buyers in a year's time !!!.

...and vice-versa once revenue, profits and an increasing number of orders are in the bag. Much closer to that now, but not visible for anyone that's new to the share. That will take posted results.

Perhaps in the next 6 months it will be noticed as one of the very few UK small floated businesses that is actually growing significantly. I thought of selling around 60p, but there isn't anything else like this that I've seen.

I agree yump and have been here since 2012. I'm not sure if I've done the right thing, but I've topped up with at least a 1year view re the top up. Hopefully it will prove correct over time, given the major contract, although I'm aware, there will be hurdles to cross before money is in the bank.

SP has held up remarkably well considering poor numbers.

It is indeed a trading share at the moment-quite predictable. The problem is one of these bad news events might be the one that causes more indigestion than expected-any other company putting these numbers out today would have been caned

Worst thing about holding here is that traders who jump in and out would have made a mint over the years, as the news has frequently been big, but generating reliable profits is taking ages, so there’s always been a big dip sometime.

If there’s another share with such promise but unpredictability, I’d fancy a go at trading it. (I don’t mean the rubbish that brags about potential contracts of £500K when they’re losing £5mln.

Actually that does put losing £5mln in H1 when contracts of £160mln are running into perspective. There’s an awful lot of rubbish on AIM where the BOD draw more in pay, than their biggest contracts or annual revenue.

Of course, this scale of growth and the nature of our customers are not without timing risks and challenges,

Sell then.

I don’t know why you’re invested. Perhaps you need to go and have a serious think about whether it suits you, seeing as there is mostly only ever one thing on your mind.

For those who questioned me on the size of the raise, no need to apologise.

Equally those who questioned my harping on about cash.Without the raise, we would have negative cash

No mention of the debt pile.

Underwhelmed I’m afraid

So they raised gross proceeds of £5.36m at the end of June and had just £3.9m remaining on the balance sheet 3 months later...

Have they never heard of having a cash buffer?

"As expected, our revenues this year will be heavily second half weighted due to the scheduled delivery of several substantial revenue milestones in H2 from our £160m forward contract order book of system projects. H1 was largely focused on the necessary preparatory and planning work for these revenue generating milestones. As such our revenues for the first half are expected to be £5.5m, solely generated from our transceivers business which continues to grow year on year. We therefore expect to report a loss before tax for the H1 period of £4.5m with gross cash balances totalling £3.9m as at 30th September 2023."

Yump

I’ve been worrying about cash for a lot longer than when the Sp was 60p

I’m not a fan of stuffing the balance sheet with debt as it needs to be repaid-as Metro Bank are finding out with their bonds.

If it’s to cover the big contract ramp up that’s fine-if it’s to fund negative cashflow from trading losses, not fine.

You missed my point. Nobody worries when a share price is rising and stays there.

Defense companies / contractors are hot topics with the institutions because of Ukraine and China. I read a recent report that US institutions are looking across the pond at EU companies, especially smaller ones, that are heavily undervalued.

Sorry, maybe I missed it this year but previous years had an interim trading update:

there is no signed Saudi contract as far as I know. As far as I know the Indonesian contract is still subject to agreement between bank, UK Govt and Baklama, Indonesian Govt. Debt markets, amongst others, are crazy at the moment.

YUMYUM,

The interims have never appeared before mid-November in previous years, so why are you claiming that they are "severely delayed" in early-October?

Obviously the interims cannot be changed (much) after 30th September. SRT have the info. Please advise the owners. What changed with regards to previous years? Thank you edhaysler for the history.
