It wasn't accepted because mediclinic offered paper shares which were weak at the time.

I worked at Bupa for a number of years so know most of
the hospitals.

These fanciful prices are ridiculous. You are probably looking at around £4 to £5 if all things go to plan . People have got to be sensible and realistic.

On 23 November 2017, Justin Ash purchased 84,500 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 236.5 pence each.

Deputy bought another 5000 after that just below 240p.

The other reason this is moving up is because all the hedge funds have sold and moved on after failed bid.Now it can rise back to 300p IMHO.
