I've not ruled out a return here. The company seems focussed on CE approval in 2020 and then perhaps will try for a US flotation. Who knows what value they may be able to get back in what I still view as a crazy US market in terms of valuations - even for ORD holders.

If anyone ever feels the need to 'average down' in ORD's (unlikely), I have 3m split between SIPP / CGT and can facilitate a manual tranfer I think via hargreaves landsdown.

johnlewis79 - you can claim 'plus1' coin (used to promote threads and posts for free using the faucet wall. I used them with a secondary phone no. I don't use much (as most ask for phone no.). It would give you maybe 500 plus1 coin which is worth about $10, or can be used in advfn to promote your post or thread.

For some weird reason posts rarely get put on the first page, well mine anyway. So those interested in blogs from holders will probably move on seeing nothing new. This is peculiar to advfn site, why I cannot say. If I had to guess I'd say it was designed to issp one off.... and much the worse for it! Not that any one gaf on Sphere anymore.

I fully expect the Umpires to draw stumps shortly and cast Sphere into the excess baggage of failed British start ups. Poor management who bungled Sphere's momentum since achieving CE accreditation
and keeping the previous CEO on past his sell by date and who was clearly out of his depth.
That's down to W who plainly took his eye off the ball and if he values Sphere at £25k then plainly were worth less than nothing. That will go down in history as one of the worst company start up failures in the last 20 years.
I doubt W gives a monkeys and he displays his lack of foresight in allowing Sphere to linger in the ICU on a lung support machine. Proxima was the game changer that nobody wanted even for free!
I was a fool to swallow
the hype of P1,2,3,4,5 and rightly the mrkt thanked me for my contributions
in keeping the board in the style they had become accustomed to.
Let's see if they have the decency to end this sorry saga once and for all!

That's 0.212p/share - still holding out for more eventually - maybe I should contact woodfood with an 'opportunity' to bring down his average cost there with my 3m

Woodford has valued Sphere at £25k in WEIF accounts for period ending 06/19, He owns 11.75m shares through WEIF. Don't know how many through WPCT

I was listening to Simon Cawkwell aka 'Evil Knievil' the other day and he is of the opinion that WPCT is effectively bust.

All sales were suspended bar for feed back purposes. So would not imagine any sales just development placements...

I can't remember the highest value Sphere attained but it was in the 10s of millions prior to gaining CE certification (it went downhill fast following that).
Total spend must be £70m +
for the latest model of P
ex costs associated for US regulatory approval which may or may not happen.
Whatever a ton of money has been raised to get this far and while I tend to agree that little value can be ascribed to P it must have 'some' value on WPCT books.
For sure the opportunity cost/loss is huge and unlikely to be recovered now we have no interest in selling P. Are we still supplying P to Europe and
are our distributors in place or have they given up the ghost as well?
As a job lot W & continuing holders might be lucky in recovering some of our outlay but considering all the delays of getting P into circulation...not a lot.

Strange all we hear and read about W is a catalogue of disastrous investments and worthless punts on risky biotechs.
You can add two more to the list. Precision Biopsy and SciFlour Sciences were once worth $226m held in WPCT. Numis says it had assumed "zero value" for both assets. W stuck $4.5m into the pair in Feb.

Has he no good news to tell? Are all his unquoted shares in WPCT a rag bag of useless fledgling companies and are there further write downs to come?
I doubt Sphere has any value ascribed to it so we will be spared reading of another W dudster.
Nevertheless I'd want to reassure investors in WPCT
that not all my investments were dogs and list those doing very well
not that it's likely to halt the declining share price and asset value.
Perhaps W is keeping his head down waiting for all this to blow over. He has a long wait i think.

Burford Cap shares sank on Tuesday after hedgie Muddy Waters said BC was a poor business which has been manipulating its returns and misleading investors.
At one time the stock fell from £13.95 to 428. MW has short positions on BC stock.
W has a 7% stake in the business.BC strongly refutes MW accusations.

Boris pledges an immediate £2bn for the NHS. A £1bn to front line services and the rest to upgrade 20 hospitals which will Inc new beds and 'vital new kit'
Doubt P is 'vital new kit'
anyways I think it's too late for us as certification has lead to
inaction on sales and any semblance of the Co wanting to progress. Guess we'll eventually fold up or be sold for peanuts.
All those years of hard work and expertise for nothing.

Oh dear the smell of rotting fish permeate everything touched by W.
Two of his big invstmnt trust's quit the mrkt.
Benevolent AI & Industrial Heat owned by EI fund delisted from Guernsey stock exch last night.
This leaves W with c.£4bn
of stocks to bring back into compliance. W is planning to sell all his unquoted investments and this is already underway.
Anyone think W is the saviour of UK start ups now?

I'm also not sure I'm clear on all the updates - but if I read it correctly, hasn't Woodford already subscribed for £3m more preference 'B' shares? for aggregate £3m since April this year?

It would appear none of this subscription was announced on the corporate website?

My entry price is low, circa 0.5p - but still the potential for 100% loss.

Well, in theory we will have an update imminently:
On April 26th Richard Write wrote (try saying that after a few pints)

"I expect the Annual Report to be published in the next two to three months, which will give you an update. In the meantime I am pleased to report that development of the automated version of Proxima is progressing well and we are on track to file for regulatory approval in both the EU and US in 2020."

Perhaps 'the' milestone for corporate activity is regulatory approval in 2020

Sounds ominous, 2 years since delisting, but well over 3 years since P4 certification, 3 years of development and still nothing to show , well nothing they have cared to inform the likes of me and you , luckily I stuck to my guns on sale targets very modest ones at that and accepted 5.1/2p for my shares , I guess many of you now wish you would have done the same , for your sakes I hope that you John and Del especially have the last laugh

Well he's sold down the majority if his stake in WPCT. A replacement is being sought. He sold 60%
of his shares to settle personal financial obligations leaving him with c.0.14%.

As to funding whether he ok'd the other £4m I dont
know but perhaps before the N.Year we might hear something.

Rapidly approaching 2 years unlisted, no real progress that's visible at least. I guess the 'burning' question is where is the next chunk of finance coming from now Woodford is presumably out of the picture?

HL has loosened the lasso allowing those invstrs double trapped to transfer funds to another broker.
Seems HL bowed to political pressure and the bad publicity. They did not waiver exit fees. I sincerely hope thousands will dump HL who have behaved disgracefully and will face no penalty over this debacle.
