There's no stopping this one. Results were good but not spectacular.

I guess its the potential when the recovery comes through.

Not complaining - especially on a down day like today.

Don't know what's going on here Enami but today's announcement entitled "Specris Interim Results" is actually for a much smaller company called Rotala Plc - nothing to do with Spectris. I certainly hope the financial highlights you have kindly posted above are nothing to do with Spectris :-)

Certainly well ahead today, 10% ahead at one point and RSI overbought.
Next upside Fib target 730.

Aye the results seem to be well accepted - share price up about 5%

This is getting a nice bump today so far.

Can't see any reason thus far but like the stock.

Trading update not inspiring (I didn't even know one was coming today).
Looking at the high volume yesterday probably some insiders had a peek at the update early.

Just finding support at the 50MA, if that fails then sub 500?

EDIT - sold out for a small profit, better prospects elsewhere. Good luck all.

Still looking OK here, added on the pullback to sub 500.
The whole sector is doing well according to the NMX2730 graph.

Target 661 is the market remains positive.

Thanks Kamitora, I had a notion that 500 would be a good place to enter here but my limited research missed the fact that the stock is XD today.

Bought a small position just in case the rumour mill puts Spectris in the takeover frame.

BRUSSELS (Dow Jones)--Japan's Nikon Corp. (7731.TO) has made a cash offer of EUR5.5 a share for Belgian industrial measurements company Metris NV (MTRS.BT), the company said in a press release Wednesday.

The offer price represents a 106.8% premium to Metris' closing price in Brussels May 26.

The acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of 2009, Metris said.

Metris' board of directors and executive management support the takeover bid, and certain major shareholders of Metris who jointly hold about 20% of the company have made a firm commitment to tender their shares to Nikon Corp., the company said.
