07/8/2013 08:18 | cestnous - you could always take half a position size if you're unsure but don't want to miss out on any potential upside. | protean
07/8/2013 08:13 | Protean, Stewi. Many thanks for your replies. I tend to be suspicious of foreign aim, but there are exceptions ( such as NCT) where the risk looks worthwhile. Stewi_18 mirrors my position exactly which is why I am still dithering. Battlebus,:I would very much appreciate a copy of the report, many thanks. | cestnous
07/8/2013 08:08 | Nice tick up at the off :)) Can't see these trading at this level for long so last chance at 24p imv. Bull points, 1. Market Cap of £10m , cash of £10m+ 2. Director buying at 40p a while back 3. Large order from a G8 central bank 4. Expansion into gaming security looks low cost and could be profitable 5. Decent shareholder base and not controlled by board but they own 10%+ 6. All options currently under water 7. Corporate activity in this market is quite common 8. Brokers target price 53p In summary far to cheap for a company that has said it will meet full year forecasts imv. | battlebus2

06/8/2013 19:25 | Haven't come across any problems with companies from the U.S.A. trading on AIM it's more the Chinese /Asian companies i wouldn't buy into again myself. This is old but may help. Three years ago there were just 5 US businesses on AIM. Now there are more than 70. The pipeline of new business is also growing strongly and the number of US companies deciding the adopt an AIM strategy is increasing rapidly. It should be noted that the US is not the only jurisdiction from which the growth in international companies on AIM is being driven; strong growth is also being seen from Canada, China, India and mainland Europe. Indeed, many of the international businesses coming to AIM have chosen London in preference to New York for the same reasons as US businesses are forming this view. The Structure of the Market The success of AIM has, to a large extent, been driven by its underlying structure including: the absence of onerous admission criteria its balanced regulatory system its simplified admission process its simple secondary fundraising procedure its easier acquisition rules the nominated adviser system | battlebus2
06/8/2013 19:24 | Have received note, Thanks | affc21
06/8/2013 19:21 | "While the US capital markets remain the largest and deepest in the world (London is second), the focus of the investment and advisory community in the States has moved up the size scale to the point where companies with a market capitalisation of less than $500 million will find it at best challenging and at worst impossible to elicit any meaningful interest from the investor and analyst communities, and both fundraising ability and share price support have largely evaporated for companies of a size which, by contrast, have been able to flourish on AIM. While the focus of the US markets has increasingly been on larger enterprises, the entire structure and fabric of the AIM market has been focused on small and mid-cap companies, with both the institutional investors and the AIM advisors targeting this specific sector of the market extremely successfully." hxxp://www.kslaw.com | protean
06/8/2013 19:18 | Thanks protean, will send email this evening. I will ask why they chose to list in aim. If anyone else has serious questions let me know. Will send email in about an hour. | bains123
06/8/2013 18:41 | Protean, do you have the email address of ceo? I would like to drop him an email. | bains123
06/8/2013 18:20 | I feel this is getting noticed now so should soon rise with anymore buying. | battlebus2
06/8/2013 18:14 | Yes, pretty illiquid generally so not one for a quick trade. More of an investment in a good value opportunity. 12.46% not in public hands in Nov 2012 according to the company website. Not sure of the reason for listing on AIM, but you could email the CEO and ask directly. | protean
06/8/2013 16:46 | Can't get trades data, but looks very illiquid. Is 12.8% the correct fgure for shares not in public hands. Why do you think they have chosen to list on AIM? Thanks in advance. | cestnous |
