08/11/2002 21:35 | One which Ive been building a stake in since early summer is IBN....Ibnet are a firm which concentrates on web site optimisation promotion/search engine submissions through their aquisition "web wurld/web gravity"..... with web gravity they sell packages for paid inclusion into search engines, they are the only service you can gain paid inclusion into the bigger engines Lycos and Hotbot (go to their sites and click "submit a site") and also have packages with Altavista, BT Looksmart, Inktomi and others..... They do paid inclusion packages for small sites through to corporate promotion campaigns for large company sites. The directors have recently done a share swap with NOIT, an investment company... which should prove good value, there is not much news flow from the company which has left the shares bouncing the around 3-5p mark for a long time now but there is business being generated for a fact. Results are due soon and will take a few by surprise as web sites are still being created ten to the dozen and these engines only guarantee inclusion if you use their paid services which equals "web gravity".... 07/11/2002 16:53 | Aortech (AOR) is my latest punt and I bought a second holding in Newcastle United yesterday (NCU) (at a higher price than my first holding) which is probably a less risky share. Another I own which I DO NOT WANT TO SELL is Games Workshop (GAW). I think this one is out of the doldrums now and on it's way to a more sensible price. Brilliant fundamentals and a great business. | ![]() dontknowitall | |
