Given that UK companies are currently freezing, suspending or cancelling their dividends left, right and centre, will the dividend aristocrats index have any remaining qualifying constituents? If not, how will this ETF work?

In his first investment outlook since retiring in March, Bill Gross, the one-time “bond king”, said on Tuesday that with trillions of dollars in debt offering negative yields, investors should be holding stocks that promise secure dividend payouts.

So, back below £12 again. I see these go XD in c3weeks. Can you say what the dividend/yield is here - unable to find info in the Header links!

Wirral, Apologies, didn't see this until now. However I'm not an apologist for this ETF.

From what I researched they just distribute the dividends received, and you can remove the charges from that, although that may be a simplistic way of viewing their charges.

I agree it should be a question asked how that mechanism work. Might send them an email - I'm perpetually dissatisfied by the transparency of fund charges....Ignoratio est non felicita.

I'm doing a bit of research and like the concept of this ETF, holding around 30 companies who have held or increased their payouts for at least 10 years. However, I was wondering about the dividends of UKDV itself; does anyone know the dividend history, are payments increasing and is there a progressive dividend policy with adequate cover?

Thanks in advance to insipiens or anyone else, for any answers...

I doubled checked and ukdv has - latest available data - the higher dividend yield. That may be due to the recent covergence....

4.18% on 30th April fact sheet. You can check the link in the header for all the info.

For me the exact dividend distribution is not meaningful in itself as I would expect a pure high dividend etf like IUKD would almost certainly best this.

However over a longer period I would expect the total return of ukdv would beat iukd. That's the bet I have placed by investing here instead of iukd.

Too early to say if my bet is misplaced, perhaps in another 3 years I can tell ;)

Just out of interest John Redwood in the FT weekend's money section has these listed as part of his virtual ETF portfolio.

Looking forward to a summer correction to buy more at a lower price.

saw yr post on IUKD insipiens; both seem quite similar, perhaps this one is a little less volatile? I'm in SDV (an actual trust fund) & considering a holding here or IUKD. interesting.

iukd outstripping ukdv for the last few months.

Dash for trash? Or perhaps that is confirmation bias on my part having swapped to ukdv.

Dividend growth ETF but they have to have consistent growth in dividends (exit stage left banks etc.)

I swapped out from iukd, as I like this index basis better and .30% ter.

I'm building these up from the pref dividends I'm receiving....
