16/2/2004 13:25 | There's already just shy of a billion shares/warrants in circulation anyway so if they raised another few million via an issue basis anything close to this price the share price couldn't possibly move anywhere unless this 'deal' was so big as to offer tens of millions in profits. Imagine you raised say 3 million vs an issue. That would increase the number of shares in circulation by about 60% to say 1.6 billion shares. With no business that would probably value the whole shell at say £5m and of course make the paper worthless. Because the paper would struggle to move on this basis, who would put 3 million quid (or any amount) in knowing that they couldn't possibly gain any upward movement. There's just too much paper out there. Option 2 is for the chairman to sell some of his to an/the investor directly (which he'd have to disclose). But why would he do that? Confused? I am and these are my opinions only. Ideas? | battery boy
16/2/2004 13:12 | They have either already arranged financing privatley which means they have convinced someone that they have a good idea, or they will come to us for it which could mean some cheap shares. | alexicacon
