Wray owns 10% of APH, which i didnt know before i bought them and would have probably put me off investing. Having said that i think they are a cracking buy.

Anyone researching or holding Southern Bear should tread with caution IMHO.

I recently had a holding in a little known company called Litcomp (LIN) which was taken over at a fraction of it's true worth.
Nigel Wray also held all the cards and a trawl through the following thread and RNS may assist investors.

Mr. Clough resigned as a director of Wavis Engineering Development Co Limited on 5 May 2005. Receivers were appointed to this company in November 2000 and it was subsequently dissolved in November 2006;

Mr. Clough resigned as a director of Fennedale Group Limited on 5 May 2005.
Receivers were appointed to this company in November 2000 and it was
subsequently dissolved in October 2006;

The shares last year have gone from 4p to 27p
I have done very well that is why I have bought Southern Bear
Just on the strength of his dealings

Degwell Properties Limited on incorporation on 9 March 1973 until dissolution of
the company on 1 May 1981. Prior to dissolution, Degwell Properties Limited was
put into receivership;


Landfall Securities (Andover) Limited from 12 July 1971 until dissolution of the
company on May 1981. Prior to dissolution, Landfall Securities (Andover) Limited
was put into receivership;


Oakdene Homes plc, from 10 June 2008 until his resignation on 26 January 2009.
This company is now in administration.
