10/1/2021 14:43 | Good post rivaldo. Always good to read a poitive | scruff1
10/1/2021 13:49 | More good news for SBI - on Friday Oxford Nanopore won a £4m LamPORE Mobile Laboratories contract from the Depatment of Health, for Mobile Laboratories fitted out with LamPORE equipment to further enable mass testing. This "will reduce transit time for samples to travel to a static lab location therefore reducing test turnaround time". Per last month's agreement, the LamPORE tests are being sent to SBI for assessment "at SourceBio's state-of-the-art ISO15189 accredited laboratory facility in Nottingham to offer a large-scale COVID-19 diagnostic testing service". | rivaldo
10/1/2021 10:02 | Tempus recommends HOLD which could mean anything. IMO there has been a pause for a reality check. There has been a rapid rise on 'expectation' really. Its going to be cash generative for some time (Lot4 in Feb? will be important) but how long is testing going to be needed - certainly in any great volume - once the initial vaccination programme is concluded? Im not sure but I believe they are close to a JV with kantaro which should give them extra legs. They are obviously going to generate a lot of cash but i think a lot will depend on how they utilise it going forward. Without news ( or another ii or DM which usually attract the lemmings) I doubt we will see anything like the hikes of last week. I dont think we will see any great slide either so I guess the HOLD by Tempus is fair comment | scruff1
09/1/2021 22:32 | scruff1, personally I think there is plenty to come here yet. Volume on Friday was far lower than the preceding days when the price rose. Natural for some profit taking along the way after a decent rise. | dibbs
09/1/2021 07:25 | Can you summarise what they are saying please? | bpc10
08/1/2021 21:41 | They may be good write ups but (as I think one said) they could have missed the boat - twice as many sells as buys today and especially this afternoon so could start down Monday. No doubt profits being locked in and like the man said - nobody ever went broke taking a profit and trees dont grow all the way to the sky. | scruff1
08/1/2021 11:28 | Cheers - and also what looks like another good write-up today on Shareprophets: "This Baby Bio Firm is Growing Fast on Covid Testing, but the Upward Action Shouldn't Falter Once the Virus is Gone By Malcolm Stacey | Friday 8 January 2021 Hello Share Mates. It might seem a little late in the day to commend to your further attention a company which tests for the virus. But a lot more of that sort of thing will be needed before the vaccines finally squash the disease. Unlike some companies which are thrashing around in the market, SourceBio International (SBI) has seen a big demand for its laboratory testing...." | rivaldo
08/1/2021 10:38 | Good write up in todays Times Tempus page 48 | 9degrees
08/1/2021 09:29 | SBI are offering home testing COVID-19 tests FYI, i.e Government approved 'Test to Release' Covid-19 Antigen RT-PCR tests (thanks to wan on the EKF thread for this). You can reduce your self isolation time when arriving back from your holiday or business trip. Order online - only a 24 hour turnaround time: | rivaldo
07/1/2021 13:34 | I wonder when we will get a trading update? We'll also hear in Feb if SBI have got approval from the government to be a permanent recognised supplier. | pngasef
07/1/2021 13:29 | Good to see a £16k buy just now at the full 225p offer price, after a brief hiatus - hopefully that means the supply of stock is drying up once again. | rivaldo
07/1/2021 12:06 | Bang on cue someone just sold 150k hence the drop. | scruff1
07/1/2021 11:51 | His initial position (3.92%) was on the 11th Nov (say 165p) so hats off for his timing!. | discodave45
07/1/2021 11:17 | He bought them on the 30 DEc before the 50% rise. He could have sold them since then. If so you will find out next week !! Its comical really. As always when playing with sharks - Beware | scruff1
07/1/2021 10:39 | RNS - Richard Griffiths has been buying and has increased his stake to 4.22%, or 3.13m shares. He has quite the following in the City, so we may be in for more good times ahead: | rivaldo
07/1/2021 08:17 | Nice start again this morning.... That's a bit depressing Mr Euro :o)) I want SBI to thrive, but hopefully COVID will largely be under control by the summer. | rivaldo
06/1/2021 16:05 | Put these in the draw Rivaldo and look in December when Covid wave 50 has hit :) | mr euro
06/1/2021 13:13 | ...and continuing to rise. Buying at above 218p now. | rivaldo
06/1/2021 09:14 | Nice start again.... | rivaldo
05/1/2021 14:07 | Hi pngaseF, sorry about that :o)) Since you asked....some stocks which haven't already gone up a lot, or which I still believe to have a lot of upside, include: REAT : a profitable and cash-rich microcap which as a specialist cleaning/decontamina VLE : (1) should announce good 2020 results, and (2) has a huge cash pile so is in a great position to make more cheap acquisitions given the current climate SUR : has risen well, but has secure income and order books and still looks very cheap RNWH : very defensively secure company in a number of growing Government-supported sectors, may well make an acquisition soon VLG : should be ready to break upwards soon, as it's already said it's on the cusp of making three new acquisitions with funds recently raised Well, you did ask! | rivaldo
05/1/2021 12:53 | According to their website they took £7 million in turnover in September. One can only imagine how much they took Oct-Dec. I don't expect these sequencing services are going to end anytime soon!! Especially as they'll want to keep an eye on variants appearing as this WILL dictate future vaccine design. | pngasef
05/1/2021 12:32 | Hey Rivaldo. You always seem to arrive at the party earlier than me! I've bought in here now. What else are you following if you don't mind me asking? | pngasef
05/1/2021 12:27 | Not surprising people are waking up to this when you consider they could have cash equivalent to a high % of their market cap in the not too distant future. Values their business and client base as very little. This could easily treble as I have already said. My biggest holding by some distance. | mr euro
05/1/2021 12:17 | Continuing to rise - buying coming in at 214p now. | rivaldo |
