Horrible, imo.

PI's "over investing", because of BOD rhetoric. Then this:

...the story slowly emerging as the real end game plays out imo. Emerging snippets like this are gold. Like Quindell, Worldcom or Enron -I find it fascinating when truth outs in business and equities imo.

The movies, books and YouTube views on business fiasco (using Worldcom & Enron as two examples) show I'm not alone.

...and people say markets are boring!

That's on the current two year, to date. The 71% figure isn't pertinent to my position, only to illustrate Frank's potential had he stayed in SOU contrasted to HUM. Remember I sold some time ago, and have stated SOU has more than halved since - the math should be simple enough imo.

It was Sidi Moktar that upset him. Since then he decided HUM was a better opportunity to make money.

Well, careful there ohdearohdearohdear. You'll have mikemichael2 onto you if he thinks you're taking BB's seriously.

I didn't say that he wasn't, only saying I can't take any statement prefaced with a Next suit purchase seriously.

Sold out at about 80p*, didn't he? So much for the perma-oak-end-game-forever holders.

*total guess. Just suspect it was far higher than 20p.

A nice chap who sold his SOU holding after his last personal audience with the BoD and didn't bother to tell anybody that he sold and didn't bother to report back what made him sell.

Yes. Salt-of-the-earth.

"I stopped reading there"

No you didn't you little liar ;-)

Your bizarre obsession with SOU means that you would have read every word at least five times. And looked up the many you didn't understand in a dictionary.

Your recent posts, that I skim read, do go to demonstrate just how much of your existence you have wasted because of your obsession. We can get back the money we might (probably not) lose on SOU. How on earth will you get back the time?

You do have my sympathy and pity though Manics.

Ah, Frank. I remember one huge wall of text he posted which started off with him going to Next to buy a new suit ahead of the meeting with Sound.

I stopped reading there.

It was Frank who met with Sound when James said they could sell on seismic but it wouldn't be for the price we were expecting. The idea was and is to get maximum value. It's easy in hindsight to mock it but if TE9 had flowed it would be a different story. The nature of exploration. It was also said by James himself that not all 3 wells are likely to come in but it would be great if they do.

Honestly, that post is as clear as can be.

You're supposed to be an investor with canny ability to assimilate information. Yet have literally managed the spectrum opposite takeaway..

You copied my post yourself a few weeks ago so it's not like you haven't seen it before.

I'm sat here like: "..eh"?!

Go genuine long and you invest in management -you buy into their truth by proxy. Personally I elevate BOD's above BB's.

JP has been clear, for months, that we're going to drill three wells (then market the company). He has repeated it on the international stage, in interviews, in presentations and in writing. Verbatim.

Still today you can read LSE rhetoric that SOU is going to sell on seismic alone in the coming days & weeks. There's now some waiting each morning for an offer/suspension RNS, here, now, in JUL18, yup, before rig(s) have even mobilised. After the $15m fund raise the penny dropped with a few "I guess we're drilling then".

..anyone posting 'on seismic' has either completely ignored the BOD (unlikely) or is maliciously positioning complete tripe; a legacy central to LSE rhetoric for the last 24 months imo.

How many skittles has LSE lined up for us to bowl over and laugh at? Sold on seismic will prove to be one of the latter ones imo which we will witness when the drill turns later this year.

Believe in your BOD -not a BB imo.

Who remembers #soldonseismic? -another BB classic imo.

We'd have been watching the buyer drill all these dusters, thinking what a masterstroke it was to sell on seismic*.

It would compare to when you sell a share then it immediately falls over 50% -like what happened to me with SOU!

*not that SOU was ever going to be #soldonseismic, as made clear by the company. Just an example of rabidly upvoted BB chimpery prevalent at the time.

I had always expected SOU to be sold before HUR but looks like it might be the other way round. Then again we could be sold next week, who knows.

Copestake: got a mate in HUR. He was 'selling' it to me at 45p.

Anwyay, SOU tracking over 5% up. I'd better think of some fresh content for this BB and right ruddy quick! ;)

MidasX: good advice :)
