Reading this mornings RNS, I do wonder why the management think it makes sense to pay a service provider (James’ Sedan chair manufacturer?) in shares at 17.5p rather than handover a £15,000 wad. I thought we had many, many multiples of that in folding stuff?

Investing 101:

You enter a trade with a clear view on your stop and your target, and you hold until either is met OR the story changes. TE9 and the ongoing GSA farce forces the rational investor to liquidate.

Now that rhetoric is unrecognisable from the Gherkin, those that kid themselves that future events hold anything different are deemed to desensitise to ever decreasing lows imo.

That is simply the way of it.

SOU hit once -out of luck and not skill (as we now clearly see from the multiple dusters drilled back to back).

James monitised that luck perfectly. He knew he could ramp PI momentum from that, to sell into as was always the (trading) plan. I do feel even JP was disappointed to be selling at the levels achieved.

His only mistake was going too late (in hindsight he should have been selling at the Gherkin) -though that would have diluted the Golden Ticket message.

The Deep Dive was the dropping of the drawers so JP could sleep at night "well, I did tell them all..." he'll think to himself.

Couple years' decent salary and nice capital gain. He's still done well.

Brian and his team produced the basin model not Schlumberger. That was made clear in some of the videoed events.

Schlumberger collected high quality data etc but did not do the interpretation that is the basin model.

I'd think Sou are now pouring over this again to try and determine where it went wrong and incorporate the data from TE-10

Don't be surprised if TE-11 is put on hold or a different location drilled.

So there we have it.SOUs basin model isn't worth the paper it's written on.TE-9 according to the model was being drilled on a sweet spot where permeability was expected to be good. It wasn't.This means that the COS for both TE-10 and TE-11 are now materially reduced. Probably both below 15%.In my opinion it's unlikely that SOU will find producible gas in this drilling campaign.Forget golden tickets, JPs been turned into a Munchkin but don't worry as per the last event he's already registered a new Company for life post SOU who will now have no takers for the assets at a premium to the share price
