27/6/2017 12:34 | The share price drifting down has enabled me to pick up more shares at a price which I believe significantly undervalues the business. The lower oil price has depressed the entire sector, which coupled with a break in news from SDX appears to have contributed to the drift. I added further yesterday at below 53p, which in time will feel like a steal. With SDX focusing on gas in Morocco in H2 this year, and the eye-watering (and increasing) margins based on local terms for selling gas, this company is turning into a cash cow, which is a different world from most other oil stocks. I'm looking forward to the CPR being released, and I still expect SDX to deliver a net cash generative position in 2018 (including an assumption for SD-1X) above $65m. The current M.Cap is ludicrous, and like all great companies, the value will out. | griffin81
27/6/2017 11:57 | Yes I think we have lost momentum which has been the problem. CPR's can take longer to come out than expected and its frustrating that we havent had it yet. That said there is so much to be confident about with SDX that once we start moving this could catch fire. With market cap of less than £100m this is so undervalued. The long term chart looks very positive and as we come into the news season for SDX, I wouldnt want to be out of it. | pauliewonder
27/6/2017 11:18 | Well trying to move today on very little trades..Massively undervalued... | neo26
26/6/2017 15:48 | I agree... | neo26
26/6/2017 15:14 | It was last Tuesday that you could sell 6 figure amounts for 57.1I reckon the bottom has just been at that 51 area | jacktrax
26/6/2017 13:12 | Volume is very low, this is going to turn very soon... | neo26
25/6/2017 16:37 | I believe its already been said, early 18 for sd1x. | ziblot
25/6/2017 12:13 | Yes agreed.. but fast track would be Sep17 at the earliest I expect to commercially produce.. but still good! | oilandgas1
25/6/2017 11:55 | You have to bear in mind, the 3d seismic data was almost identical to what they encountered at sd1x well. Paul said they expect to find between 150bcf to 300bcf of gas, as you know he has always been conservative with his predictions. He told us that he expected the well to flow commercial between 5mmcfd- 15mmcfd, but we know it significantly was above that at 26mmcfd. The coming weeks should bring about a positive cpr which he has already said the well is expected to be of commercial reserves. Interesting times, it time to fast track south disouq. | neo26
24/6/2017 10:28 | Someone is still buying IMO.... | deltrotter
24/6/2017 09:52 | HIGHCLERE INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS LLP certainly didn't acquire 9,612,714 shares in order to lose money on them. It's unfortunate that we don't know just how long they've been buying. Whether they bought slowly over time (most likely) or whether they've made a sudden large purchase (or a number of these). | shakeypremis
23/6/2017 23:25 | deltrotter, read the post two up from yours. And the two people who likes your post should read it too. | sheep_herder
22/6/2017 21:10 | Very low volume in SDX share trades this week, which is probably why the share price has been walked down. Fundamentals, though, remain compelling. Happy to hold for the time being, albeit that the PoO is concerning, in that the market appears not to be re-balancing in the way most believed it would. | puzzler2
22/6/2017 20:36 | Could also be that oil has dropped by 20-25% over the last couple of months as well I guess. | deltrotter
22/6/2017 20:11 | I think people have just got a bit bored with SDX in the last few weeks. The news flow is about to start up though thick and fast. | brasso3
22/6/2017 11:53 | shakeyp What matters with gas is not a spot price set in the global market - and subject to pressure from falling oil prices. What matters is the specific price in the local market and the availability of sales contracts. In Egypt the achievable local price is very attractive and improving. SDX will do well out of gas produced at SD-1X in future. In Morocco, the price SDX is getting for current gas production is amazingly good. SDX is drilling 7 wells later this year and has enough pipeline capacity to handle 4X its current production. If the 7 wells yield the gas which is expected then the cashflow in the short-medium term will be very substantial. T | tournesol
22/6/2017 10:30 | Natural gas still doing well though. What does SD1 appear to have in abundance? Gas. | shakeypremis
22/6/2017 09:36 | Bit of a nuisance this pull back but I guess we are not immune to the oil price decline even though a lower oil price could benefit us in picking up debt beleaguered assets. | soulsauce
20/6/2017 23:41 | I bought with HL this morning, 5,000 shares via "fill or kill", so it's not impossible. | puzzler2
20/6/2017 14:16 | HL is not giving a price for any size (not even 1000 shares) - very frustrating.... | jinxo777
20/6/2017 14:15 | I just bought | muffster
20/6/2017 14:11 | At the moment you cannot sell and you cannot buy - this has never happened to me before!!! | jinxo777
20/6/2017 12:38 | pauliewonder, Hur's issue is access to the right level of funding for their EPS. I am a holder of them and do not fear for them. The ones I do fear for are the ones which have the covenant-trigger noose around their necks like PMO and TLW etc... It shows why keeping a clean sheet is so important. Cash | cashandcard
20/6/2017 12:34 | Completely agree. Look at HUR being hammered again. That said, at some point HURwill have to become attractive to a predator given the level of oil they have. | pauliewonder
20/6/2017 12:12 | rossannan, Definitely. A sea of red elsewhere. With oil price movements, those with significant/major debt are being hammered. Cash | cashandcard |
