if it was known a giant meteor was going to hit earth I think the US markets would still be trading up.

S&P needs to shed 300pts before it looks aligned properly to forecast earnings

just wait until earnings seasons out

so many profit warnings and downgrades coming that I think the bots will have a headache

markets cannot fight the daily headlines which are getting worse each day

Germany Saw corona cases nearly double today - they are up 180+ in one day

Gold producers will be producing prodigious amounts of cash, but SOLG is not yet a gold producer. It's all in the ground and worth billions when it comes out. But it's long term and we live in an impatient world.

Their presentation still anticipates the resource update this quarter, next 4 weeks! Conditional financing in place by end of 2nd quarter. If they achieve that, the price will fly.The whole presentation still reads like a sales brochure

Lunus1 - this was from the "H1 Interim"

Cascabel Project
"As a consequence of drought conditions and in consideration of impacts on local waterways and as well as a cash management measure, drilling operations remain curtailed since September."

It doesn't seem to be a news story, and sunny with showers there for the next 14 days according to 'timeanddate'

So gold just perked up somewhat and the cost of money came down a full 0.5%, not that you would know from looking at the Solg price.

I recently read that all activity had come to a halt since last November due to the severe drought in Ecuador, where they have had no rainfall for five months. Has anyone else heard this and if so is it still ongoing?

Car industry are saying they expect 4mln EV's to be sold this year, 10mln EV's being sold in 2025 and maybe 25mln EV's being sold per year by 2030.

Shadabi,
" Do you honestly think that could happen here ? " Yes, very much so.

A strategic release of information is exactly what a board will do if given the chance.
Governments and businesses do it all the time.

Good luck, this has been a pot about to boil for circa 5 years now! But all the positives remain in place and indeed have improved in as far as the government is unequivocal about it's backing for mining. So some issues of which many of us were unaware have been resolved, there can't be much in the way now for whoever actually wants to open a mine at Cascabel.
