I tihnk if accepted it would be deemed positive news for SOlgold. However, as NM has pointed out previous attempts at this have failed so i cant imagine that the market will attach too much value until shareholders actually agree. NM can propose what he likes but realitiy is what the market wwants

Bit surprised at the lack of reaction to this. Seems like a smart move if it comes off. It would really help BHP or Newcrest in any takeover of SOLG to get Cornerstone's holding. If NM can grab it before they are free to do so that would be a coup.

Yes I have said it before unfortunately powers beyond have kept the share price down .

We will see in the next few days if they can do it again . I think not because we all know PEA is coming any day now . Now you have a reason why I think the share price will rise.
