Lefrene some aim shares have jake schmit and their share price spikes to the stratosphere. Some have so much yet doesn't reflect by share price Sp is the only thing makes our investment worthwhile

Whatever the share price does it doesn't change the huge resources in the ground, the value of which will be recognised in due course.

The 'buying op' just got more generous yuff! I presume that all movers and shakers are off on their fancy hols for the next couple of weeks, so most small shares will languish for lack of interest. I also presume that NM will hold back good news in order to roll it for a listing on the Toronto exchange. So probably nothing much doing here for several weeks, well that's my guess.

What are the mining projects that are currently part of the mining portfolio of Ecuador? What are the metals being explored and where do investors come from? How are mining relations between Peru and Ecuador? These were some of the questions that the owner of the Mining sector responded exclusively to Rumbo Minero after visiting our country.

What is the balance of the Ecuadorian mining sector?

2016 has been a very important year for Ecuador. We believe that it is a year in which the mining industry is consolidating, after a couple of important years because in 2014 major changes were generated in the legislation in order to attract investment and in 2015, the institutionality is created with the creation Of the Ministry of Mining.

Thus, in 2016 we see palpable results as the El Mirador project that is already in a stage of construction of the mine. Another novelty will be the signing of the definitive agreement of exploitation for Fruit of the North, act that would occur at the beginning of next November. So also Rio Blanco is under construction of its mine; Loma Larga has started the feasibility after having a positive pre-feasibility; The San Carlos-Panantza project, which was suspended for ten years by a social problem, has now been solved and will resume exploration starting in November. This year the creation of a mixed economy company between the National Copper Corporation of Chile (Codelco) and the National Mining Company (Enami EP) is planned for the development of the Llurimagua mining project.

In general, all strategic projects are progressing adequately and in line with their scheduled activities and investment schedules.

Also, another important point is to have resumed the mining concessions and with this also to resume the mining exploration in the country. We have received more than 330 applications for new mining concessions, of which the delivery of titles has already begun and it is expected until the end of this year to meet all these requests.

These new investments represent approximately US $ 400 million to be invested in exploration in the next 4; In addition to this, by 2017 this figure could double to US $ 1 billion, which includes investments in three projects under construction, such as: Mirador, Fruta del Norte and Rio Blanco, which in the second Half of 2017 would be starting production and would become the first industrial mining unit.

This year 2016, will also mark advances in the projects, which although they are in the exploration phase, will produce extraordinary results as is the case of Cascabel that is carried out by SolGold.

An important fact for this year is that BHP Billiton bet on the project Cascabel, which shows the interest of large companies to enter the country.

Nothing is happening. Eveyone who has bought is staying put. No one else buying. If no news in the foreseable future then lot of people will get bored and leave.

Might not have an effect that quickly (though would be nice) as some funds may only restructure quarterly or monthly? But it is very reassuring to know there's always going to be big forced buyers in the background slowly hoovering up, reducing the free float
