18/11/2016 14:20 | I have experienced what you have and it costs but it is also a learning process and sorting out the wheat from the chaff. Sometimes you can be plain umlucky. I enjoy the research and I understand why many of these shares fail. Bottom line never invest funds you cannot afford to lose. Good luck to you and your SOLG investment. Look at the recent news and mining journal plus with Rosseau Asset Management invested and the size of some of the purchases relax in the knowledge that perhaps someone is building a position? Who else is interested in this apart from BHP? | billthebank
18/11/2016 14:15 | spacedust I'm not sure if this is the game for you either that or your stake in this share is far too high for you to be comfortable. I'm aware I don't know you but you shouldn't be feeling like this if your postion size is the correct size in your overall portfolio. | bigdazzler
18/11/2016 13:58 | Glad everyone else in this forum have never experienced what I have. Good luck all. Hopefully we have news soon to sustain the share price at the very least | spacedust
18/11/2016 12:27 | Mark I've done exactly what you said for past 9 years. Either resulted in consolidation, dilution, or going bust with company name changes. Solg is the only aim share I've invested this year as I now intend to invest only in FTSE 100 and 250 companies and the experience past 18 months have been great | spacedust
18/11/2016 12:04 | Spacedust Chill out man Hardly any volume should tell you nothing to be concerned about This Solg is the best play on AIM at the moment Nothing to touch it 50p with newscinfirned with resource detail by year end | yufff
18/11/2016 10:50 | Spacedust, every town has a casino if you want to just gamble for a quick return I suggest you go there. Or do what we are doing, invest and be patient for the bigger gains | markth126
18/11/2016 10:25 | Cheers bil. Most people would have blasted me as a shorter. Or having an agenda. I'm just peeed off | spacedust
18/11/2016 10:21 | Just have patience spacedust | billthebank
18/11/2016 10:10 | Oh dear oh dear. Anyone who bought in the 25p area must be cracking it as their profits diminish and unsure what to do. I'm in severe losses so will hold to either make big gains or lose the entire investment I've made in this. | spacedust
17/11/2016 18:39 | Space never a truer word Trades are delayed to assist them balancing their books We have to guess | yufff
17/11/2016 17:53 | Might even be a sell from million years ago. Who knows aim is all manipulated. Market makers are king of kings they can do what they want when ever and however and to who and which ever company they want to shaft or look after | spacedust
17/11/2016 16:51 | Related trades probably a roll over | yufff

16/11/2016 19:41 | Market makers don't give a damn of size or whatever it is. I'm on a downer until this rises to the moon. Sentiment required...or news....my take is even with news this will not move ...I've seen and been in so many aim shares that drift back down with fantastic news | spacedust
16/11/2016 17:29 | Tweet of 14 Nov 2016 by Solgold [top tweet on top of their page] Solgold did a screen shot of the entire article. "Solgold going deep in Ecuador."-Mining Online Extract: "The scale of the geophysical signature where it finds mineralised rock suggests the deposit has the potential to EVENTUALLY have a size similar to Codelco*s El Tinente mine in Chile, which has MORE than 10 BILLION TONNES OF ORE." Please note: In all the Solgold presentations found on www.solgold.com.au > Open Investor Center> Presentation, it was from recall 10 billion tonnes of mineralised rock at %. However, there is a difference between that and 10 billion tonnes of ore? EL TENIENTE- Wikipedia hxxps://en.wikipedia Extract:"With over 3,000 kilometres of underground drifts,it is reported as the world*s biggest underground copper mine and is the largest of Codelco*s operations." Interesting. | jlondon

15/11/2016 14:49 | Potential takeover of Solgold 1)Whilst the latest article ref:"Solgold not ruling out potential takeover by BHP."-S & P Global, Market Intelligence, 9 Nov 2016 wherein in Nicholas Mather said he will consider a BHP takeover offer if the price is "right." 2)However, Solgold has just tweeted, 9 hrs ago, a screen shot shot of the article:"Solgold is going deep in Ecuador."- Mining Online. 3)www.afr.com/busine 4)"Solgold Valuation-Macro Axis- Macroaxis at this time anticipates takeover price of $19.95B, market cap of $348 million." hxxps://www.macroaxi Observation: The BHP Investment Proposal of 10 Oct 2016 was for the total package of $30m for 10% stake in Solgold and $275 million for 70% of ENSA of out 85%. If the next BHP offer [ref:1 para of this post] is only within the normal range of up to 100% more, then will Nicholas Mather accept the takeover offer or not? The 1st BHP offer was for a total of US$305 million. Of course, there is nothing to stop BHP to offer what Nicholas Mather would consider a "right" price. However, from the 2nd article [para 2 of this post], given the timelines of drilling and potential vision + another listing in Canada for more "traction", it appears that Nicholas Mather has laid out a hedging strategy of either takeover or going further with the Cascabel project via the "vision"? In the meantime, we are told that drilling had commenced on Cascabel to reach 2,800 metres, another 1,000 metres further via an RNS of 18 Oct 2016. From what I understand, the rig can drill 40 metres a day, so that will be roughly 70 days? So, roughly on 28 Nov 2016, the drilling on Alpala Central would have reached target depth. In the meantime, the hand rigs may or may not have gone on to the other targets to drill since it is unclear. However, 2 catalysts to come. Interesting. J.London Tues, 15 Nov 2016 | jlondon
15/11/2016 13:42 | Needs news franki8. Everyone and their dog knows Cascabel is a big find, it's a matter of just how big and how rich. Then it's a matter of how much the big boys are willing to pay to get control of a huge rich resource. I should think that the most attractive bit is the size of resource which means that sunk investment in infrastructure will be in use for decades, rather than needing a rapid payback. So bring on the Chinese big hitters, lets see a few $ billion being put up! | lefrene
15/11/2016 13:35 | "Solgold going deep in Ecuador."-Mining Online Solgold on Twitter tweeted the above article, 9 hrs ago, with screen shot of the whole article. [Top Tweet on their page] Extract: "With invetor interest increasing in the co, AIM listed Solgold may also look to list on the Canadian stock market in 2017, where it thinks it may gain MORE TRACTION." Note: Look at the timeline of the drilling ie in metres etc. | jlondon
15/11/2016 13:25 | can't help but get the feeling that something is brewing with all these buys coming in.. | franki8
15/11/2016 11:29 | Considering this has come up from 2p price is holding remarkably well. But none of us can predict the future. | mam fach |
