06/2/2017 18:37 | Taken from SharePrice On the day of the interview the share price mid price was 0.23p and the MC was #16m. So if Neil was right in the interview a #50m, #60m or #70m increase would equate to the following: #50m increase would indicate a mid price share price of 0.949p #60m increase would indicate a mid price share price of 1.093p #70m increase would indicate a mid price share price of 1.236p Just need the well test result toward end of Feb, but not expecting share price to sit still. 06/2/2017 17:55 | Billy, I hope your well. I had no idea you were in SOLO. Nice one. Take care, GD | greatfull dead
06/2/2017 16:59 | well well well | lithological heterogeneities
06/2/2017 16:38 | Billy no worries, we now know that the updip region between NT-2 and NT-3 is highly prospective. NT-3 is now very very interesting as its significantly updip and in the supposed thickest part of the channel. Also NT-2 exceeding expectations is very positive at this stage as its got around x8-10 the net payable of NT-1 and if it flows well will have +ve implications for the size of the currently discovered reserves which imo are now material. Before this well JB quoted up to 370Bcf in place as high end for NT-2, that may need upward revision, clearly 51m gross gas column, 30m net is not near the edges of the field. So we've multiple more appraisal targets in additional to NT-3. Should it come in next then it'll add more appraisal targets west of its location as again its not a flank well either. It could be some time before we know the full extent of Ntorya. But something we can all agree on is that noone was expecting this level of net pay, I was hoping for 8-10m, and its the best well drilled in Tanz by this jvp. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/2/2017 16:34 | Which should mean a good step-out to NT-3. Saw from old presentation original plan was to do NT-3 as next well after NT-1 skipping NT-2 | billy_buffin
06/2/2017 16:16 | It probably is in communication as it is only 1.5km away and was expected that NT2 was to be thicker with an upside of 1 to 1.5TCF. They just did not expect the reservoir to be 50m thick with 25-30m net. | whoppy
06/2/2017 16:14 | Cheers Edgin - Am keen to see what areal extent of reservoir is and suspect may be greater than forecast. If communication established will have big effect on how many wells required. | billy_buffin
06/2/2017 16:07 | Billy, Not yet, we're still at the initial stages, not even been wirelined as yet, just LWD results. We'll get further updates from the companies in the short term. They could do that but I guess once we get a short term flow test and possible pressure build up tests from NT-2 it'll be moved to NT-3, don't think re-entry of NT-1 will be likely at this stage. I don't think proving communication between NT-1 and NT-2 will be the highest priority to partners, but we'll know forward plans soon. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/2/2017 15:51 | Does anyone know if there has been any talk of communication between wells as a given? An Interference Test gets data critical for future reservoir management and proves communication between wells. Now NT-2 is drilled an interference test could be carried out. Set a memory gauge (for BHP) down one well and produce the other at a steady rate to prove reservoir communication. | billy_buffin
06/2/2017 15:45 | Thought i might as well post it as its quite a short artical The company has announced that the Ntorya-2 well has successfully found a gross gas bearing reservoir unit of approximately 51m and net pay of 25-30m, well ahead of pre-drill expectations. The company is doing flow tests now which should be complete by the end of the month. Given that the first well flowed at 20 million cubic feet a day with some condensate, there must be a reasonable chance that this is bigger than that. If this turns into a proper gas field as one can almost say it is, it is only 40km to the Madimba gas processing plant and the natural gas pipeline system. Aminex and Solo shareholders can look forward to the Ntorya field after a long and very patient wait… | paulhgreen
06/2/2017 15:13 | Be interesting to see how much condensate there is when they flow test Seriously a company changer IMO given the positive drill results | mickey take
06/2/2017 15:06 | Egein I missed that last year so would have to take another look Been here for the last six years or so but don't post often | mickey take
06/2/2017 14:56 | Mickey, Cheers chap and good luck to you too. Should be an interesting few weeks as we get the results of the wireline logs and eventual test results this month. What did you make of the seismic released in the AEX presenation earlier last year (Ruvuma potential)? Do you think the gas channel continues up to at least the fault between NT-2 and NT-3 location? I guess you've just taken some today as I've not seen you posting before. Regards, Ed. | edgein
06/2/2017 14:48 | Edgein Thanks for your reply, I have worked in the O&G Industry for many years You seem to be well informed Good luck | mickey take
06/2/2017 14:34 | Mickey, Nope been an investor for around 25 years, mainly in O&G, however shifted to mining since the oil crash. Held hundreds of oil and gas companies over the years and done a hell of a lot of reading to at least limit risks. I've held all sorts of companies from CBM to non-conventional to conventional O&G.
