Thats why I now intend to hold all I have in SOLO. Sold one we both know about, not the gold one but the P one and got more of my current favoutite besides SOLO.

Agreed chap, HH sent these over 1p in the past. It alone could be worth more than the current cap in a few months once work starts there again. Arreton looks like another HH with its 200ft of pay in the same reservoirs as HH, it could be worth way more than the current cap if they get a +ve result from a horizontal well through the limestone reservoirs there.

I read up on LWD prior to posting. Thats Why I said I 'obviously' in my post to you.
I too agree SOLO is way undEr valued with its access to HH etc.

Tiny2,

Solo is the much more undervalued of the two. Hedge it is right get the one with both Tanz and Kimmeridge potential (HH and Arreton) and spread your risk.

Yup I'd imagine so that it will be a LWD bit used, they seem to be common these days on practically all modern wells. They may pull out though and run full logs on any potential pay while drilling I'd guess. A secondary tertiary discovery is unlikely but possible above the Cretaceous target.

I wouldn't rule it out entirely as JB stated the further west we go the more likely there is to be oil found on the licence. They did get oil shows in Likonde, my money is on something similar to NT-1 (gas and some condensate). However at 5.6km west NT-3 will be one to watch as HC may be sourced from more than one direction, it has the potential to be both oil and gas charged if successful.

I still stick by intermediate casing set some time next week. But have noted DL's comments about speed, perhaps ROP has increased in this short intermediate section of just 700m which was drilling ahead on the 7th. Also don't take your eyes off the screen chaps cause if there is also gas in the tertiary we may hear about that first!

Simon, spot on about logging though knowing Solo the might just RNS the have hit gas and AEX are in the process of logging what the zone content of gas etc they have found!

I think ten days for an announcement may be a bit optimistic but I would love it for that to come off.. that being said they will be logging as they go so will probably know pretty early as they hit the zone whether they have come up trumps and then it may be a case of a few nudges and winks and up she'll go (if of course the news [rumour] is positive).........

Ed,

I felt SOLO share price would break 0.4p last week. Its looking like that is definitely on the cards for this week to brake 0.4p or even possibly more. My right hand is so itchy!

They have dropped the bid to take stop losses out. They are getting short of stock.
Never put stop losses on aim shares.

I can see why you've got an itchy right hand, it looks as if the mm's don't have many left now, they seem very sensitive this morning on low volume buying. It may not be too long before we crack that 0.42 resistance too as its less significant than the resistance at 0.5-0.56. Hard to believe we're over half way down a potentially company making appraisal well and we're just above £20m cap. Especially with Arreton looking like a mirror image of HH with pay in similar formations and a 30% wi.

The first section was 1326m, next planned section is around 700m and it started drilling on the 7th. All being well we should get another update next week for the intermediate casing. So far looking good for around the end of the month imo.
