The shareholder always losses out on consolidation, the only real reason for consolation is when there are so many small shareholders it makes it difficult for the company when issues need to be voted on and they need to contact all shareholders, the pie alway remains the same size

c31161 I do understand it's not how many shares you hold but the percentage of the company you hold and it is irrelevant if it's 2 shares or 2000 shares as long as it makes up the same percentage of the company to you.
But sometimes with such a large issue of shares and forever growing it seems a bit of spring cleaning, tidying up may help or these will be forever and a day .003p or less

You really are showing your ignorance the amount of shares in a company is totally irrelevant, its only at the point of dilution, if a company disputed by 5% it just means at the time the share are released other shareholders shares are valued at 5% less, it's all about the market cap, if I company is worth £5m and there are only 5 shares each share is worth £1m if there are 5 million shares then each share is worth £1, it's about the market cap not the amount of share in issue

it seems every time they have a placing it's another 500 million or so shares issued

Solo lost trust due to recent placing by misleading all investors,so it will take time to gain confidence back.Don't compare with ukog nd Alba.Once they get first payment than it will be solo time if no more non sense from management
