I think the eqdr gov have made the position crystal clear, they are going to back big mining all the way. So, 1. Lots of gold2. Lots of copper3. Onside gov.4. Very cheap local labour.5. Plenty skill sets6. Inevitable mine going to be built.7. Yummy :-)

Didnt say they are not invested, somone posted a story about 3rd party, cant see anythink to back that up, BHP could if they wanted, but havent added about 200million shares, why havent they, thats the question.plonk, BHP and newcrest have invested pocket change.

Nothing is true, BHP and Newcrest are not invested in Solg. Why would they have any interest what so ever in millions of ounces of gold. Jeez..plank.

Ive seen that before doesnt say anythink about 3rd parties, its about finance to take to production rather than takeovers, heard these so called stories for at least 5 years, of 12 companies that were interested in solgold, he NM would make a good estate agent, have had loads of people interested in this property, all sales guys use it, doesnt make it true, he is not in talks with anyone.end of.

Yes . No doubt one morning soon we will wake up to an RNS stating that APALA has been sold for x amount .

I thought after the CC The shareprice would rocket to 40p plus .at 31p we are a great buy . Anyday soon we will have the final offer for cornerstone and soon after that their reply .

Imho thats when NM can release all the news he has been holding back . Apala should grow by another 30 percent making it the largest mine in the world
And we can buy it for 577 million .

Well I’d be inclined to surmise they certainly are from the wording of his response?

“Or at what price they may be seeking discussions with us at” ......!

May well be until cornerstone is finished you are not going to know what they have found .ask the vice mining minister he knows .

No they arent, no takeover talk, price drifting, 31p now, after you all got excited about a small price increase yesterday, while he refusels to update the market with 9 months of drilling updates, and no updates on cornerstone, are they making an offer or not?are they drilling the other sites yes or no, this guy NM has lost the plot and needs to step down and step down NOW.

Thanks Pob69. It’s very apparent that the Ecuadorean Government are really trying to get the message home loud and clear that they will no longer tolerate any interference with its big mining policy in any form and that Ecuador is a reliable place for international miners to operate.

They are not daft. They want their tax revenues and increased jobs and prosperity for their people.
