Thanks pob69

So Wednesday next week the courts will decide weather mining in Ecuador can Carry on . No wonder why NM looks worried.

This is how i read the article .

Knowing this it is normal the the share price is under pressure.

Please read the article and make your own opinions

I see lots of filtered posts in the last 2 weeks. Oh well....

Potential reason for short term share price weakness for Solgold $SOLG $SOLG.L $CGP #ecuador

For those with a longer view, it provides an opportunity...

Market cap currently circa $830 million, with just one potential mine valued at lower estimate of $4.1 billion, and nowt for the rest of Cascabel or the other 12 identified sites. For anyone with deep pockets it's a mining bargain.

MK the find was cascabel. THere is no doubt about it. He said it is worth teh debt of teh country. Look up Ecuadorian debt adn the value of the copper in teh ground from teh NPV calculations. They are the same figure. He hasnt meant a new discovery simply that Solgold was going to announce their PEA soon. He got the timing wrong. Clearly Solgold had been chatting to him beforehand and he decided to big it up in his speech.

ODR, those trades were most likely from earlier in the day but took time to be worked through hence the fall in the price.

It is human nature to see what we want to see. Self included. Letting that cloud our judgement is the difficult bit.

I'm still a big believer in this company, just think it is going to be quite a while before we see the gains we all hope for.

I actually sold out before yesterday, when I saw a recent interview NM had with a mining mag (I think). Not based on the content but the way he came across.

You sold out yesterday .

I stand by everything i have said .time will tell if i am right . I am out of the share at the moment but will buy again when cornerstone is sorted .400 is very possible .

I am reading between the lines and maybe wrong but am old enough to understand many games are being played.

The vice minister of mining was not making it up when he made his comments.who was he talking about???

Gary provides a balance to your constant positive posts guessing at NM's actions and predicting silly share prices of 400p etc. Just reread the rubbish you just posted - 'Master of the Bluff'.

Alwaysevoling.

Gery is the worst Type of vomit we have on these boards. Someone who takes pleasure in others pain .

The 3 million at 36.5 means someone is clearly still interested in the stock.

Lets see how this unfolds and what kind of hand NM is holding . I think he maybe master of the Bluff. Its not in his interests for góod news to come out of Alpala just yet .He is also how sitting on nearly 6 months of drilling .Góod news now could be bad news down the line .

Keep those cards close to your chest NM

Yes, perhaps I'm looking too much for 'clever' manoeuvres regarding resolving the Cornerstone problem. There probably won't be any, the whole thing will grind on perhaps until Cornerstone are confronted with having to put up their 15% of exploitation cost, then something will happen. Back to waiting then, another 18 months and probably more as they seem always to get behind on time schedules.

The vultures of course will all sit on the fence waiting for Solg to keel over and then they will all flock down at once!

Lefrene,

No value indeed - much better to pull it for now. Then do a proper job later.

Very much doubt NM wants any negative effect.

NM and his team know a lot about mining but, unsurprisingly, not much about video production. These videos are dire but hopefully this experience will not put them off.
I enjoyed the early location report type videos that Ben did on site not least as they gave us a good idea of the topography etc.

I have been waiting for similar ones from the regional exploration priority sites. far better to see what's on the ground - channel cuts etc than makeshift studio IVs.

lefrene,

Video is a punishing media when it is not done properly. NM certainly comes across as rather tired and dispirited, perhaps from jetlag/exhaustion as you suggest. But I suspect his manner and tone reflects the "ordeal" he felt he and his team were being put through in doing the video.

Take a look at the interviews with the rest of his top team. The lighting is all over the place (Ben alternates between looking normal and being irradiated!). The camerawork is poor and so is the editing (jump cuts etc).

Garwin comes over the best, despite the cuts! Obviously the producer is trying to stitch together the best narrative content from several takes but you have to have something to cover the joins otherwise it looks pretty amateurish and disjointed. Some graphics of the deposit would have done the trick.

And quite what the robotic interviewer was doing escapes me.

I agree they are plainly rather poor videos, but ineptitude at Board level is not uncommon in all sorts of businesses. But anyway the damage is done, even if those videos were taken down. So is it deliberate?
