07/5/2019 07:12 | RNS - SolGold PLC Porvenir Project Update Highly encouraging drilling results! Commenting on the result, SolGold CEO Mr Nick Mather said "The latest progress at Porvenir is indicative of the effort SolGold puts into its first mover advantage secured in 2014 across Ecuador. SolGold's team of geoscientists led by Dr. Steve Garwin, porphyry expert, recognised several targets with the right geochemical, geological and geophysical signature and we have so far secured eleven of them. SolGold is committed to leading the development of a sustainable copper-gold mining industry in Ecuador. The high grades and strong gold endowment at Alpala and Porvenir provide us with a unique opportunity to develop this Company without joint ventures. The size and grade of the outcropping mineralisation at Porvenir indicates a significant copper gold porphyry system. The 150m long channel sample is significantly longer and richer than the 50m long discovery outcrop at Alpala in the Cascabel tenement, which has so far yielded a contained resource of 23 million ounces of gold and nearly 11 million tonnes of copper. The Porvenir system has the hallmarks of a significant discovery so far. SolGold has identified and secured the best of an entire copper-gold province, the size and metallurgy of northern Chile. That's a unique approach that can't be replicated. We are confident that Alpala and now Porvenir are the first projects in a long, large and rich string of them. The next generation of growth in SolGold is going to come from more spectacular discoveries on a 100% basis like Porvenir. All SolGold shareholders will enjoy that growth, including hopefully the Cornerstone Capital Corporation shareholders who are soon to be availed of our bid for Cornerstone. We have the cash, the expertise and the focus to deliver." | mount teide
06/5/2019 20:51 | Tesla will do just fine as long as every bond fund manager keeps throwing money at them for a coupon, not realising they are taking equity risk. When that gravy train ends, the chickens will come home to roost. | dmitribollokov
06/5/2019 20:33 | Poor old Tesla don’t have enough cash for their car business such as it is. Can’t see how they can afford/justify/expla Whoever thinks a buyer will be anyone other than bhp or Newcrest might need a cold towel... | jerryspaniel
06/5/2019 20:00 | For the love of god, it’s not my view, it’s fact. You are of course free to argue 1+1 doesn’t equal 2 all day if it makes you feel better. | dmitribollokov
06/5/2019 15:29 | "It would be impossible to make markets if you had to flatten every night..." Perhaps a passing MM might enlighten us all? I do know that MM's don't sit all day watching just one share, they have to make a market in a good many different companies in order to justify their job, they wouldn't make enough off trading one share, and thus wouldn't want to hold stakes in lots of companies. I dare say there are leading MMs in particular shares who act as 'banker' to other participants, and perhaps those few might hold a single slug or two of 'market size' as a float to kick off the next day. But to do otherwise would be risking being left holding stock if bad news arrived in an rns at 07:00. One notices how violently a price can move at the open on news either way, this is MM's running for cover, and often they deliberately move prices as they simply don't want to trade due to the risk. So you stick to your view and I will stick to mine, not that it makes a jot of difference to us either way. | lefrene
06/5/2019 08:20 | Article 5/5: Authorities of Imbabura and Carchi visited Cascabel project Solgold $SOLG $SOLG.L #ecuador $CGP "....The visit of the authorities of the provinces of Imbabura and Carchi made it possible to see first-hand the compliance with the standards required by a mining concession, under strict environmental, geological and social parameters, which consolidate strategies aimed at improving participatory and inclusive processes." | pob69
03/5/2019 20:13 | More important is the price of copper. | arcadian
03/5/2019 16:46 | Another million from PI,s into safe hands. Notice all the traders disapeared on Lse. | mknight
03/5/2019 16:32 | It would be impossible to make markets if you had to flatten every night... | dmitribollokov
03/5/2019 10:35 | Yes, but do they? I presume if you are an independent MM then it would be your own business, but I'm guessing the vast majority are employees and thus will be under instructions from the employer. | lefrene
03/5/2019 10:18 | Ah I see - Shabadi is right, that is nonsense lefrene, the closing auction is just to determine the closing price and square-off orders. They can hold positions overnight. | dmitribollokov
03/5/2019 10:14 | shabadi, I know decades ago in the days of the fortnight account, MMs would take positions and hold stock themselves, but I believe for many years now that they do not hold stock themselves hence the opening and closing auctions to square their books. I would however expect them to have arrangements with very large holders to borrow stock short term if required. If you know differently do tell. | lefrene
03/5/2019 09:57 | To be clear, you are agreeing with Lefrene and also saying Market Makers do not hold positions overnight. | shabadi
03/5/2019 08:05 | Er no, you might be getting confused with day traders... | dmitribollokov
02/5/2019 18:27 | lefrene.. Market Makers do not hold positions overnight ? | shabadi
02/5/2019 18:17 | I thought that the PEA came before the PFS and after those two then the Bankable Feasibility Study? I think NM talked about combining two of them, though which two I can’t recall. So pea soon and pfs by end of year could be consistent. | jerryspaniel
02/5/2019 18:00 | If you trouble to read that link you will hear a different story from the management. Anna may not be privy to everything. Plainly there is gamesmanship going on with CGP, hence the black out. | lefrene
02/5/2019 17:57 | Lefrene I recieved an email from Anna 2 weeks ago saying the delay was only a short one. Cant see it why she Would say that if tje delay was until the end of the year Regarding buys and sells , if an order was placed for 20 million the trade Would not show until the order has been filled. If i am wrong please advise me so I can understand the situation . | mknight
02/5/2019 17:25 | Been using the decent liquidity to build an initial 500k position over the last couple of weeks. | mount teide
02/5/2019 17:22 | mknight you can't rely on the advfn trades accounting. As market makers do not hold overnight positions the days 'sells' and 'buys' balance, it's just the advfn counter that doesn't reflect it. That link provided by pob69 tells us that we will have to wait to the end of this year for the PEA! Whether that is just part of a ruse re the CGP situation I wouldn't know. But Solg is keeping us all in the dark, presumably until they have done a deal with CGP. | lefrene
02/5/2019 16:47 | So who is buying up the 800.000 sells everyday for the last 3_4 weeks. | mknight
02/5/2019 15:09 | Another week nearly gone and our short delay continues to get longer . | mknight
02/5/2019 13:37 | Look at the sells coming in, doesnt look good. | 1garythomas
02/5/2019 13:26 | Look at the buys and sells today, know one is buying solgold shares and no one is interested in cornerstone, just amazedthat the price is still at this level, should be back in the low 30s by now, but it looks like heading that way, with no news. | 1garythomas |
