Whoever took the 25mil is perhaps looking for more? Or was it just that 25mil overhanging the market that was killing the action? Perhaps we will see a move into the 30's now.

It wont be a short closing as its too big i would think. Much more likely simply a worked sell order. Same selling effect and hopefully get the bounce if that had been applying pressure on the market.

We still don't know what happened to all of the 180 million issue, Blackstone seem to have some of them, but who is sitting on the other 100 million? Perhaps that 25 million trade is part of that unknown 100 million? It must take a couple of phone calls to manage a trade of that size. It would be nice if that was a short closing out :¬)

I'm hopefull that that big chunk is now cleared out the way and the price can get back into an upward trajectory.

The 25m looks like a seller cleared though to be honest it's all guesswork.

Price looks strong and the order book looks healthy or certainly healthier

Nice chunky buys by the looks of things . Very undervalued copper resource here . Hence the many bids . Wish we knew the offers . But surely there weren't for 35 or 45p ! Making current price low IMO

I hold some AAZ and those shares appear to be caught up in Beaufort's screw up! September eh? It's going to be a long slow summer then :¬(

Fuzzy, there's a shortfall so some will be and are being sold to try and perform a balancing act. Price Waterhouse are also having their pound of flesh to the tune of £100m. Stocks are being sold with many holders over 50k taking a haircut which is expected to be paid in September. Holdings of 2k or less will be paid soon, around a month.

lefrene,

FWIW, I see things a bit differently - Solg has put out more news more regularly than any other mining exploration company that I have invested in for the last 20+ years. Just had news on Aquinaga drilling, Trevino drilling to start very soon and new epithermal gold discovery a few km North of Cascabel. They were a bit too ambitious with the promise of quarterly updates to the MRE, but I'll forgive them if they come up with a stonking update!

MRE update is weeks over due Mrpiggy, thus one would expect the price to decline as prices usually do when managers fail to walk their talk. It's a news driven stock with no news!

Let's hope we stay above the private placement price of 25p and that the share price doesn't drift till the MRE upgrade lands!
