17/10/2017 11:49 | Jeez, SOLG being played like a fiddle by Mm's. | mrpiggy
16/10/2017 17:17 | lefrene, If the share price continues to languish this increases the risk of a behemoth making an opportunistic bid claiming a significant premium over the last 3 to 4 months average price. IMO, that's why the falling share price should concern the BOD. High time we got a newsworthy set of drill results and, preferably, a clear timetable for November drilling of a new prospect such as Aquinaga, plus the highlights of what the geophysics is suggesting. Of course exploration is a long haul but the story needs envigorating every few months. And they are not short of drill rigs! | pecker1
16/10/2017 15:29 | Because if you had you just know that Behemoth Inc would have swooped in with a take over offer :¬) Only insiders or very lucky people can make those sort of plays. In fact why did it spike up? Who thought they knew what to chase up the price? Eventually the sheer scale of this will be reflected in the price. I guess you could try gaming with 20% of your holding? | lefrene
16/10/2017 15:24 | Knew I should have sold on that last spike! Could have bought back with 20% more shares now. When will I ever learn? | alwaysevolving
16/10/2017 13:05 | A steady firming of metal prices against fiat currencies has to be good for sentiment here. Also helps Solg's negotiating position when some behemoth decides to bully it's way into owning a chunk of the real estate. Solg might be three or four years away from mining Alpala, but that could shrink if there was a serious will on the part of a miner to get stuck in. I wouldn't mind an update on the drilling just now, it's gone a bit quiet lately. | lefrene
16/10/2017 12:42 | well we are a distance and then some off from being a producer so not expecting a direct correlation to spot metal prices. Just have to be content that it's good for sentiment and the longer run if nothing else. | onedayrodders
16/10/2017 12:35 | Copper up, Gold up, Solgold not so much? | alwaysevolving
16/10/2017 11:56 | Good to see the copper price firm up today $3.21 lb. Copper, I wonder who makes it? :¬) | lefrene
13/10/2017 16:19 | Very likely Kev, could end the day up a little. | lefrene
13/10/2017 15:37 | More (listed) Buys Than Sells MM's holding the share price back and trying to accumulating to sell at a higher SP? | cool hand kev
13/10/2017 14:42 | This appears to be a game of attrition, makes a Mexican stand-off seem like a weekend on the beach. | lefrene
13/10/2017 13:49 | Cool hand, that's not a tree shake, that's an 'ambush. | alphapig
13/10/2017 11:18 | Tree Shake over | cool hand kev
13/10/2017 11:07 | I would agree. Prove up some Aquinaga and then a costing can be made to get a shallow pit mine up and running that could remove some of the finance concerns that all mining explorers have. Personally not expecting fireaorks from teh frist resource as has been said in a couple fo interviews. they seem to want to get a maiden resource out there and then simply improve the figure throughout next year. | 5070481
13/10/2017 10:47 | Yes I agree, I think it will be a massive resource in time, but in the meantime a maiden resource is needed by the end of the year. A decent tonnage and grade will show the world what they have, giving a greater number of investors confidence to buy the stock. I hold shares in SOLG myself and hope the day comes rather sooner than later, that they drill Aquinaga, as the mineralisation there looks shallower, hopefully for the consideration of open pit. | knil
13/10/2017 10:16 | SOLG is going down because it has a constant seller. COpper and gold are both rising but SOLG isnt actually mining weithe rof these yet so derives no benefit. Strange position to be in in that it almost needs a major to take it over or else it needs to raise money every year to keep the drilling program going. HUge amounts of copper and decent gold but that just isnt exciting the market just yet. Despite my pessimism I and I long term holder. It's a hell of a resource. | 5070481
13/10/2017 10:16 | Can we go back on AIM please...Bet the board are happy with the move to the main market! | ddubzy
13/10/2017 09:53 | The volatility may be coming from the fact that I THINK? SOLG have the same Market Managers as they had when they were on AIM. The stock now seems to have a larger buy-sell spread but is getting taken up and down by as much as 30% which is good for traders but not for long term investors. Stop losses will be triggered easily to fill cheaper orders. AIM trackers and other AIM funds may have also had to come out of SOLG with their move to the main market. If SOLG got their market cap up to around £600k-£7 A premium listing (companies that comply with the UK's highest standards of regulation and corporate governance)would also help,as I think SOLG have a standard listing now. | knil
13/10/2017 07:29 | Thanks for the explanation knil. I just wasn't expecting volatility we have just experienced on the main market. Hopefully onwards and upwards from here! | mrpiggy
12/10/2017 14:45 | Companies with a small market cap. can have a Full London Listing, take Upland Resources for example, its market cap. is just over £5 million but is fully listed. | knil |
