18/6/2016 09:41 | Thanks pal & Maverick. I'd like to know how some of these experts read the charts. If you follow Robbie Burns (the naked trader), he called this one spot on as he sold out at 3.77. Anyone got any tips for this specific example i.e. what are the chart indicators that would have told you to sell at 3.77? I've tried to study this 3.77 - 3.80 sell zone retrospectively although I can't seem to figure it out. I looked at the RSI, although this indicated overbought (+70) at the 3.50 - 3.55 area. There's obviously a knack to it, perhaps using the RSI and a combination of other indicators, as the naked trader can't be lucky every time! Would be great to get some thoughts :) | smokybenchod

17/6/2016 10:04 | I too am watching this closely. After buying in from 290, 303 & most recently 316 I was very lucky (more luck than judgement) and sold at 381 for a nice profit. Anywhere in the 310/300p range is a possibility and a good entry point in my view. I'm no expert, I'm not a chartist and have no L2 access, just a casual trader who is watching this to look at getting in againGood luck! | maverick82

08/6/2016 12:13 | Berenberg initiated coverage of Softcat, which provides IT infrastructure to corporate and public sector organisations, with a ‘buy’ rating and a 425p price target. The bank said the business has successfully quadrupled revenues in the past five years and delivered EBIT margins materially higher than peers. It said that with its capital-light model, Softcat should be able to deliver a return on capital employed of 60% in 2016. “Despite a strong performance in the shares since its IPO in November 2015, we believe Softcat still has scope to grow its customer base and take market share. “With strong cash conversion we forecast the business to grow its net cash position substantially, giving capacity for major shareholder returns.” Berenberg highlighted “serious top-line potential” at Softcat, pointing out that the company has delivered a revenue compound annual growth rate of 33% since 2010. The market growing at around 6% a year across the same period means Softcat outperformed the market by a factor of 5x. With underlying market growth of 5% a year estimated between 2016-18, Berenberg has conservatively projected that Softcat will grow at 2.5x market growth, implying a top-line CAGR of 13%. | igoe104

27/5/2016 14:52 | It’s a knock out for Softcat and Mimecast Posted on Friday, May 27, 2016 Email management and cloud services provider Mimecast has named Softcat its premier partner of the year 2016 for the ninth year in a row, following outstanding performance and business growth throughout the financial year. Mimecast's CPO Alan Kenny and channel director Gillian Crewdson co-hosted the annual awards at The Brewery in London ahead of CRN's charity fight night. Softcat's Peter Ollerenshaw, Microsoft Azure Sales Specialist, was one of eighteen contenders who battled it out in the ring, boxing his way to victory with a first round stoppage. Receiving the Mimecast premier partner of the year 2016 award this year was Softcat's managing director Colin Brown, network and security specialist Robert Mariconda and solutions sales director Richard Wyn Griffith. Commenting on the evening and winning the award, Colin said: "It has been a fantastic evening of wins all round. Congratulations the Softcat team and Pete for all their hard work. 25/5/2016 17:40 | liked these sentences from yesterday: 'Revenue growth was slightly ahead of that seen in the first half, with gross profit and operating profit also growing faster than in the first six months.' 'Period-on-Period growth was achieved both in terms of customer numbers as well as gross profit per customer.' | mfhmfh
24/5/2016 07:40 | You could deduce the numbers referencing the HY results as the statement references these. Revs are over 10% higher than Q3 2015 period, gross profit over 15% higher and Operating profit over 13% higher. Sound very good to me. If the market reacts anything like the last set of figures I wouldn't hold your breath as the price was being manipulated to be held back after an initial surge. Let's see what it finishes the day on - my guess is higher but by how much is the question. | smokybenchod
