    TORONTO, Nov. 27 /CNW/ - On November 27, 2003, as part of private

placement of SouthernEra Resources Limited's common shares, Dr. Christopher

M.H. Jennings and Messrs. Thomas C. Dawson and Philip S. Martin, all directors

of SouthernEra Resources Limited, subscribed, for 16,300, 12,000 and 9,000

common shares respectively, of a total of 330,000 common shares placed. The

subscription price was Canadian $7.50 and represented a 35% premium to the

closing price on November 26, 2003. The issued shares are subject to a four-

month hold period. The proceeds will be expended on Canadian exploration

programs.

 

    Further to these transactions, the directors now have the following

interest in the Company's common shares:
