FibWhen I say 'all that means' I'm referring to the suggestion that 'North Africa Tende Energy plc ' is a separate company, which is not what the LinkedIn page saysThat is all.Whether this is a significant move or development, I've no idea. But, for info, Hendo at the agm was the guy for North African /ATOG/Cosmos stuff, so I'm hardly surprised. Post agm I asked a question to JP re Cosmos and JP send ask Hendo, he's the guy for this.Fwiw, my view is the Cosmos development could be very significant, if they can progress it. Imo, Tende's timescales to develop it seem optimistic to me, but will be delighted to be proven wrong on that one.

Astral…. “All that means”

Firstly, I may have missed my IR update and notification!

Secondly, when did break away of any element of African continent or consortium become a thing, where Tende are concerned.

Interesting take Astral, to say the least.

There is no presuming of anything CFO related. CFO he is not (according to our LinkedIn update)

Call me sceptical but your post almost reads as if your down playing this fascinating find from Tradoil.

All that means is Hendo is in charge of Tende Energy plc North African operationsFrom LinkedIn:Under the Tende Energy plc heading:CEO North AfricaResponsible for leading the development of Tende's portfolio in North Africa.Presumably Hendo more than capable of holding the fort if we need a new cfo. Will need one if we're listing. If we're about to be take out, don't seem worth it.At the agm Hendo said there was no interest in Dunraven Resources from Tende. It doesn't fit the profile of what Tende are looking for.

Global oil super major, BP and Eni have struck a deal to take an operating stake in a highly prospective exploration licence in Namibia’s Orange basin close to Galp Energia’s huge Mopane discovery and next door to acreage where Shell has made five discoveries.

Azule Energy, the 50:50 joint venture between BP and Eni which brings together their Angolan assets, has struck an agreement with privately owned Rhino Resources to enter Petroleum Exploration Licence 85 which covers Block 2914A.

Representing the voice of the African energy sector, the African Energy Chamber (AEC) stands in support of Azule Energy’s venture into the Orange Basin, recognizing the value of the transaction in unlocking the full potential of the country’s oil and gas resources. The deal is a testament to the prospectivity of the basin as well as the high level of international interest in Namibia’s offshore oil and gas opportunities.

Under the terms of the agreement, Azule Energy has secured a 42.5% interest in Block 2914A – located in PEL 85. Following the completion of the acquisition, Azule Energy plans to drill two high-impact exploration wells as part of a work program in the area, with the initiation of the first well anticipated as early as Q4, 2024. These wells are anticipated to play a crucial role in unlocking the hydrocarbon potential of the Orange Basin, thereby supporting Namibia’s energy security and economic growth.

Additionally, the agreement provides Azule Energy with an option to become the operator of PEL 85, showcasing the company’s commitment to responsible resource management and operational excellence. The current contractor group consists of Rhino Resources Namibia as the operator with an 85% interest, Namibia’s national oil company NAMCOR with a 10% interest and indigenous company Korres Investments with a 5% interest. This consortium represents a diverse range of expertise and resources, ensuring a well-rounded approach to exploration and development activities in the Orange Basin.

“It is an exciting moment for exploration in Namibia. This farm in further confirms Namibia as one of the world’s most prospective, underexplored hotspots, with billions of barrels of oil yet to be found. We still believe that there will be many more similar farm-in deals by companies holding exploration assets in this emerging country,” stated NJ Ayuk, the Executive Chairman of the AEC. “The Chamber commends Azule Energy and Rhino Resources Namibia for their vision and commitment and look forward to supporting their efforts as they work to unlock the full potential of Namibia’s offshore resources”

The Orange Basin continues to reveal substantial deposits of untapped oil and gas. The discovery of light oil in the Enigma-1X well – located in PEL 39 – by energy major Shell marked the latest addition to Namibia’s string of sizeable oil discoveries. The discovery followed the Venus-1X, Graff 1-X, Jonker-1X, La Rona-1X, Lesedi-1X, Mopane-1X, and Mopane-2X finds, showcasing the immense potential lying within the basin. With each find, Namibia inches closer to harnessing these opportunities for commercialization. As the government progresses towards a strategic plan to capitalize on these prospects, it aims to streamline regulatory frameworks, attract further investment and foster sustainable delopment in the energy sector.

In this context, Azule Energy’s Farm-In Agreement assumes greater significance, as it underscores the company’s commitment to exploring and developing the region’s hydrocarbon resources. By participating in the exploration activities in Namibia’s Orange Basin, Azule Energy not only demonstrates its confidence in the prospectivity of the area but also contributes to the broader goal of enhancing Namibia’s energy landscape.

CFO Dec 2017 - Apr 2024
6 years 5 months spent as CFO Tende Energy came to an end last month.

Now claims the title of CEO North Africa Tende Energy PLC.
PLC = Public Limited Company. Interesting.

His LinkedIn profile has never contained any reference to ATOG Midco Ltd or Anglo Tunisian Oil & Gas Ltd, two private limited Companies to which he was appointed as Director in July 2023, and remains so acc to Companies House.

Responsible for leading the development of Tende’s portfolio in North Africa

CFO Dec 2017 - Apr 2024
London, United Kingdom and Dubai, UAE

Non Executive Director
Dunraven Resources Limited · Part-time Nov 2018 - Present · 5 yrs 7 mos Dublin

Excellent spot, Trad. Tumbleweed weekend is anything but. As I say, plenty going on behind the scenes, but little to nothing being announced publically by the Company. As usual we are left to guess what is really going on.

By North Africa, I`m thinking that the Tunisia portfolio has been extended to include what was Dunraven`s Mahdia oil field which sits off the north coast.

Note the change of address base, which means that this Tende Energy North Africa operation is being run out of Dubai.

Article 6.2 Human rights Act 1998 gives an absolute right to a fair and public hearing. No reporting restrictions apply in the vast majority of cases, and certainly not in this particular commercial dispute.
The principle is that justice must be seen to be done.

'..any shareholder who holds at least 5% of the company shares can request that a general meeting be called if they believe that one is necessary..'

There must be shareholders on the confirmation list that qualify.....yet have not decide to bother.
