Tony your post about a placing seems to have got a few of the clicks backs up! I will happily put a wager with anyone of you guys that a placing is on its way at a discount of today's sp!! | ![]() shez20
11/5/2017 14:15 | Now that folks posted that the survey vessel was just back in port several days ago, it shouldn't be very much longer until we get an update. This was the final stage before rig selection. We're vendor financed for well service and with COSL for the rig, the long lead items were also ordered some time ago. So nothing to stop the developmental drilling operations on Ororo. What else fits in around that we'll find out in due course. Once they establish the production potential of the 200ft of pay from O-1 and if anything lies 250m below the field then they can decide upon developmental route. Until they know the production potential and mix of oil and gas they cannot come up with a detailed developmental plan. Once they get one or two of the directional wells down and at least logged if not tested then they should have a better idea of the way forward. They've environmental consent for 3 seabed penetrations, that could be 6 production legs, perhaps even 9 (Oilexco style) in total which will give constant news flow for pretty much the rest of the year should they elect to use those options back to back. Whether we see any more of the pipeline of assets before, during or after this activity will remain to be seen. The next RNS I'm expecting to see from SRSP is contract signed for a specific COSL jackup and rig mob. Regards, Ed. | edgein

11/5/2017 12:40 | Surely there has to be an RNS tomorrow! The last one was the 13th April - Seabed Survey was 27th March and results from that was meant to be two weeks so news flow is coming! | 1sonic

11/5/2017 12:04 | Fair bit of selling going on into the current share price push. Last opp for the possee of dodgy mates to pull off the final one of the r and r series. Hold through until the June biggie. | ![]() dr rosso
11/5/2017 12:00 | Chevron Nigeria is the critical stakeholder in Block 95. The big CNG/NGL gas project being developed here involves Sirius but does not get a mention in the article. Possibly because the farm-in partner/LTF consortium want hush hush ahead of the link to adjacent block 241 which is their main target, valued at 50x more than 20mmboe Ororo Field and 5x more than the 200mmboe Ororo/95(6-8 fields)Project. | ![]() dr rosso |
