The only glimmer of hope that I can see is that SRSP state that they hold no shares in treasury yet created a subsidiary, SO&G, that SRSP hold 100% in and is currently classified as 'dormant'. SO&G hold vast swathes of SRSP shares. The late Annual Return may require information to the present amount and holders of those shares. ...(just a guess)

If you read the rns carefully you'll see that the concert party are hell bent on maintaining the 29.9%, just below the Take Over code. I can only imagine that with all the new shares that have been issued in the last couple of years that the 'Concert Party' have been busy topping up so as to maintain their percentage.....and control.









n addition to and at the same time as the Placing, the Company will issue an additional 12,000,000 Ordinary Shares at par to Sirius Oil
& Gas Limited ("SO&G") as part settlement of consideration amounting to �275,000 due to SO&G as set out in the Circular. The payment of
this consideration (to be settled through the issue of 110,000,000 new Ordinary Shares) was approved at the EGM held on 19 August 2008 (the
"EGM"). SO&G is considered to be part of a Concert Party with Corvus Capital Inc and others (the "Concert Party") and so the number of
shares issued to SO&G was limited to an amount such that the total number of shares held by the Concert Party remained below 29.9%. As a
result, only 46,000,000 new Ordinary Shares were issued to SO&G immediately after the EGM with 64,000,000 shares to be issued at a later
date. The Placing dilutes the effective holding of the Concert Party allowing 12,000,000 additional shares to be issued to SO&G such that
the effective shareholding of the Concert Party is restored. Accordingly, SO&G's interest in the Company will increase to 58,000,000 shares representing 11.54% of the enlarged share capital

Jim - It has to be one or the other. Would a company really 'forget' to submit such a document. If it is a stategic move, then what is the range of possibilities regarding the reason for such a move ? The formost reason would be to hide an incoming shareholder but to what advantage ?

Could the incoming share holder be part of a buy out once accumulated adequate amount of stock?
Then could this buyer go it alone???

I doubt it ... Why would they appoint Neal ... but only to get a bond from ICAP to go drilling ... solo.

As I have said before it was not to ramp, encourage anyone.

I was genuinely self positive in my posts

I was hopeful of a good investment

My enthusiasm has wained a little recently

Still hopeful of good news though

Might I add that I invested due to positive posts on here at the time

Htrocka - do you have any info regarding the time scales and events that will follow srsp first gazette re non submittence of AR. I am asking because I was trying to evaluate if srsp are hiding anything in this AR how long they could keep it hidden. There may be some new share holder that if known in public domain may have positive effect on share price Wonder if Mr Spencer may be included.

look at this rns.... imagine if we got this today, it would entice you to ring up your broker and order a shed load of shares. No doubt some did.

proven marginal oil assets in Nigeria."



In the past there have been various entities that have approached and were willing to invest in SRSP ...yet for some reason that alludes me, something keeps going wrong SRSP's end.

Well that's only 0.005 from now lol with rockas de ramping not far off https://youtu.be/OyBSrBqogPYI was thinking today the fact we have so many shares in issue is due to the fact everyone has been paid with them hence we haven't needed the funding, why do we need the funding if a take over is coming we won't drill hence no funding, pay everyone with and off with millions of shares get the assets proven up then the final buy out price is big enough so everyone gets a big slice of the pie can't be much longer to wait now aimho dyor.
