Primed for re-list means a marketing exercise underway, telling the world how attractive this is to would-be investors. Regular updates to maintain interest.

Instead we have total silence. Go figure.

Bron, it's not the "winking" episode that matters, and you are right that no-one gives a monkeys about that. But it's the inference that ace drew from it that has caused the trouble. Because he believed that it was me (it wasn't!) he mistakenly concluded that I'm "in" with the BoD. He seems to think it's funny and acceptable to accuse someone of being in cahoots with the Bod and taking payments from them to post deliberately misleading information on a bulletin board to deliberately mislead his fellow investors. That's what ace has been doing to me for months now, and he knows full well that it is totally untrue.

He should stop and think for a moment how would he feel if someone did that to him.

I don't know bestdeal, but I imagine it could be because they feel they don't need to waste time communicating with the plebs like us because they will definitely be talking to the investors that they regard as having some importance.

PS: On that note, I still haven't had a response to my three emails!

PRESS RELEASE

NNPC Ltd, First E&P Achieve 20,000bpd Production at OML 85

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) and its Joint Venture partner in OML 85, First Exploration and Petroleum Development Company Limited (First E&P), have commenced oil production from the asset, also known as Madu Field.

Production from the field which is located in shallow waters offshore Bayelsa State and operated by First E&P is expected to be at an average of 20,000 barrels per day.

The achievement is a testament to the commitment of the President Bola Tinubu administration to optimise production from the nation’s oil and gas assets through the provision of an enabling environment for existing and prospective investors.

Speaking on the development, the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd., Mr. Mele Kyari, described the commencement of oil production at the Madu Field as a significant milestone that will contribute to the larger goal of meeting the production required to drive revenue growth and boost the nation’s economy.

Kyari, who commended stakeholders for their support, also explained that the addition of 20,000 barrels per day by an indigenous oil player signals the commitment of stakeholders to achieving economic development for Nigeria.

It would be recalled that the Final Investment Decision (FID) on the development of the Madu Field and a sister field, Anyala, was taken by the NNPC Ltd./First E&P JV in 2018.

Production from the Madu Field will be processed at the JV’s Abigail-Joseph Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) Unit, which has a crude oil storage capacity of up to 800,000 bbls.

Its job is to hold the share price steady at 2p. In order to do so, trading has to be strictly limited. With the no. of current shares in issue fixed at 5.2bn, it makes for a smoother process in the transition whereby a new entity enters to take over ownership and control of Tende Energy. The new acquirer will certainly be wanting the Angola assets secured and of course the various stakeholders in 18/31 will be dd checking the prospective newcomer before approval.

Partial issue of a batch of low-cost new ipo shares will ensure the transfer of control. Res 4 ensured that up to an additional 3bn can go out. A small number may be set aside for existing retail investors to participate.

Once the above completes, everything on-field swings into action ie Cosmos, OML 65. The development funding is in place, as are the management leadership teams. This is all about the handover of control. I suspect that the only one left standing of the current BoD bunch will be Kuti, continuing in his role of identifying further asset acquisitions.

Sure, not that eloquent but here goes
Hi
Ok
Appreciate your reply.
As investors we are aware of the recent court case with Omega.
Naturally this is viewed as disturbing. Given this something extremely important to the company, I would have expected some sort of update/explanation to be forthcoming.
Will you be doing this ?

Many Thanks

"Saudi Aramco deployed an army of investor relations specialists, focused on the bond sale. Fergus MacLeod, formerly head of investors relations at BP Plc, led the effort with Louise Hough, a 25-year veteran at Credit Suisse Group AG."

A key person who, in 2019, helped CEO Amin Nasser get away a $12bn bond issue shows up at Tende Energy agm. Hmmm.

'An unlisted PLC is not required to comply with AIM Regulations. However, Tende Energy PLC must abide by the comprehensive list of Rules as laid down by the Companies Act 2013.

from the AR
'The Board engages with investors at the AGM, through news releases on the website, and maintains regular dialogue with key investors, and business partner'

But it's OK for 'Key Investors and business partners' with whom the bod has 'regular dialogue'....ie, a two way discussion on a regular basis. That certainly beats our annual AGM.

I've no doubt that NDA's have signed, however, rather than direct contact with the bod, you'd have better luck in trying to get info from ...'a key investor or a business partner'. We ' ordinary investors' have been locked into the website and AGMs for info.

'In contrast, unlisted Tende has kept everybody, other than significant insiders, in the dark regarding progress...'

Would the company have made the 'key investors and business partners' sign None Disclosure Agreements?
