One technical reason why the shares may drive forward in the coming months is that the market cap at £140m now makes the company larger than many FTSE Small Cap constituents so if SLN is promoted at the next review many FTSE All Share tracker funds will require to purchase the shares to maintain their weightings.

I saw that comment and I have to say it has unfortunate connotations in my mind with "the Year of Sue" from the TV series The Middle - Sue being someone who was conspicuously not successful despite wanting desperately to be so.

But I agree this morning's rns reads as a very confident statement.

Yes, Ali's not far off doubling our money on Arrowhead, at least on paper. Not bad on an $11m investment.

He bought at an average of $1.65 and they're currently just over $3.

At the interim date (i.e. 30th June) though, which Silence will be reporting tomorrow, he was sitting on a small loss as they were back at $1.62.
