Verger, OK, today we have seen big gains due to the earnings release and there has been double the amount of sells than buys. tommorow it will fall somewhat after todays excitement dies down and they are left with a lot of stock. It will propably rise from there up to the 100 level. I would buy when it falls tommorow and hold for a while propably till their next statement is due. It would be foolish to buy at current levels 75 because it will certainly fall a bit tommorow.

Verger , When the price ticks up everyone sells and the next day it falls due to heavy selling the previous day and people buy. It is just a delayed reaction, some stocks can do that and others can't cope and fall immideately. It is a sign of plenty of confidence..
I don't actually think it is time to 'get in' yet however as the thread creator suggests, I would wait till we see the bottom for sure by seeing a significant rise first, by at least 10p. It will still have a way to go following that up till 120p. I bought last year for 101p so don't fear missing the boat.

One day lots of selling but the price ticks up, then lots of buying and the price falls. I get the impression no-one knows what's happening. We shall just have to wait. But what we do know is that here we have a good company with a well respected management that have made the right moves in a difficult market. It's just the economy...!

Consistant chart signals

Look at FOG & the 30 day sma, clear consistant buy/sell signals
Buy when 30 day sma goes below share price, sell when it goes above

I always think that I know better, let things run after the sell signal & lose most of the profit

Just to say at the end of the day, it was up and going strong, breaking that 71p intraday barrier.
