market cap is low for production and reserves compared to many other oilers and the downstream value in the outlets would appear to be substantially undervalued as well. then the exploration potential seems to be ignored in the valuation. one to lock away !!

Is there some correlation with the drop in share price and the British Council row? Problem is that confidence goes when they get knocked so hard every time they seem to finally get going. I've held all the way though from 18p(pre conversion) apart from selling out at 1.95 and having to come back in at 2.25 then kept adding. I am just going to hold whatever. It seems too hard to judge and moves too quick to catch in either direction. I might hazard a guess that the slide was prompted by funds pulling out to cover other losses. They will be back I guess cos the fundamentals are better than ever.

yeah, at 27p the suspended, and we were given one shs for every ten we had, so went from (example) of old holding = 10,000shs but then the share price opened at 165p and you had new shs= 1,000 shs..

prospere since then.....

p.s the relisting was AFTER 9 months suspension..

seems cheap to me Napoleon but im losing a bit of fosh so hen ce my potential decision to flog some.

cheers

I used to own these shares way back in the 20`sp range, what happened? Did they have a share conversion or something?

Wondering when to go longer if this goes much further.
I'm sure forward projections & PER/PEGs looking real cheap.

Selftrade says :

2007 (Act.) 2008 (Est.) 09 (Est.)
Earnings per share (GBP) 35.30 / 56.55 / 101.62

So, @ 480p:

Price earnings ratio 13.60 / 8.49 / 4.72
Earning growth % 110.12 / 62.04 / 30.77

So I make it PEG '07 = 0.22 / '08 = 0.276 / '09 ?

Is that supposed to be expensive?

Not often you get two announcements of good news , record oil production and thawing of relations at the moscow refinery and the share price gets hammered.
( ontop of this oil price remains strong and the strenghening dollar will help the improve earnings)

Hi, I'm still trying to digest/analyse it Napoleon, because it oes seem complicated. Ive actually gone on the basis of never getting anythign back from when we were wripped off by that scumbag R Obramovich, so anything is a bonus, and it does appear to be a little bit better prospect wise...

Main thing for my view, is the refinery, production, and imho undervalued MCAP....

cheers

Banj & Leeson; I'm holding all mine as well. Safe share in this world.
All that refinery news makes good reading.

It's worth the chin wag if it gets us our half of Yugra back,
since they bought abramoschmuckchelski's Sibneft........

So do we get a staight deal on that in exchange, 1 way or the other?
Seeing as City of Moscow own 25% of SBE, it's becoming 6 of 1 - & half a doz of the other, give or take 1.5Bn US$!
