You will need to notify losses on a SAR108 form - which can be downloaded on the HMRC website - when you do your annual return.

Well I guess I got my answer with this mornings statement saying withdrawn from AIM.

Presume share certificate to have nil value.

Do I need to do anything to be able to use this loss against a future CG? Would I be right in saying that my invoices and a copy of statement would be sufficient?

Will the administrators try sell business name and do a reversal giving anothere company a foothold on AIM - like Shieldtec did?....... or is all money invested totally lost?

If its totally lost can you tell me - I understand I can use my losses in this to set against my CG - do I simply need my purchase receipt or do I need to get a nil value statement of some sort (green in this area)

Just in case anyone missed it, you can get the administrators proposals by writing to here......

From the latest news item.....

"The Board has continued to vigorously explore all possible options to address its short and medium term financing requirements and has been in negotiations with a number of parties, including in relation to a possible sale of the Aegis business as a going concern."

I wish they had asked me, I would have been happy to offer them a small injection.

these clowns said 10 days, and they cant even keep up with their administration promise, i hope someone can overtake this company, it would be a hell of a waste of my hard earned money!

To all the ex-Basers and any newcomers holding shares, I'm saddened to read about STEC and wish you well.

Why didn't they just ask us mugs for more money, that's what they usually do?

It is sad, but I think we may be close to the end of the road.

Cuts promised in policing and defence does not bode well for Shieldtech.

Also current bid/mid/offer stands at 2.0/2.5/3.0
Halifax will sell as many as you like at 2.15 but won't buy at any price.

Looks to me like the end is in sight. DYOR etc.

going down? What is happening?....
what a crock of old sh!t...... Holder since Base Group days, and almost ploughed more money in when they became Shieldtech.
Looks like a loss for cap gains tax purposes is the best I can hope for here.

I preferred it when it was Base, at least you knew where you stood - always on a precipice, here it's just a knife edge.
