I am not so sure about word of mouth. Looking online for any discussion about Accrufer in the US seems to bring up blanks. Surely if it were modern word of mouth it would be be internet chat? It seems that HCPs are the key gatekeepers.

Spot on bunlop. Word of mouth is one of if not the most powerful and effective forms of advertising and is what will lead to hockey stick growth. We are in the early stages of that here.

Focusing on woman's health must help with the spread of the awareness of our product by word of mouth. Woman are much more likely than men to discuss their treatment with other women. Once tried, it becomes a no brainer to demand it next time ( if you can afford it, are insured or can get it on the NHS). Word of mouth may, over time, be an important factor and is free marketing.

If anybody is interested in understanding why it took so long for the sales snowball to start rolling here is a lovely explanation. I held STX when it was launched. I did not understand that a mere medical need was enough. Nor was 30 inexperienced sales staff. It is a grind in thousands of HCP places of work. Competing with other sales staff for time to pitch. Only now is real traction happening. Will be interesting to see if Q3 24 numbers start showing accelerating sales numbers.



To all Pharma Sales Professionals and First Line Sales Leaders who are probably sitting in your car outside of an office or in the waiting room or break room of an office, or about to go get in your car to head to an office:

If it weren’t for YOU….

• A patient WOULD NOT be receiving the therapy they need to cure or manage their illness or medical condition.
• A doctor or HCP WOULD NOT be aware of a new drug or current treatment therapy available for their patients.
• A staff member WOULD NOT know how to help their patients gain access to that drug or treatment therapy.
• HCPs and staff WOULD NOT be aware of managed care coverage or available rebates.
• Your organizations WOULD NOT know what is happening in the field and how they can best service the marketplace.
• Your local communities WOULD NOT be aware of education and sponsorship opportunities that your companies provide.

Without YOU, there WOULD NOT be the awareness necessary to heal and treat patients across the country and the world.

I know that in an industry where you find yourself job searching more often than you would like, where acquisitions, restructuring and layoffs are commonplace, where you can almost daily get talked down to by a staff member or HCP; sometimes you feel like YOU don’t matter as much as the organizations/drugs/therapies/products you promote.

But…. Because of YOU:

• A patient WILL be cured or treated for something they have struggled with for years.
• A doctor/ HCP WILL be able to service their patients and be aware of all current treatment options available.
• Staff members WILL know how to get access to medications and access to patient assistance for patients that cannot afford their medications.
• Communities WILL be impacted with better treatment opportunities.
• Our country and our world WILL have more knowledge and access to life-saving treatments and chronic and acute treatment therapies.

Your companies CANNOT carry out their missions without YOU!

So from a fellow pharmaceutical sales professional, sales leader and sales trainer, I just want you to know how important YOU are, even when it may feel like others don’t see that 🫶🏾

“Shield has recently identified that the projection methodology used by its third-party data provider resulted in an overstatement of total prescriptions in 2023. This development was partly responsible for the Group not achieving previously indicated guidance of total prescriptions in FY23 of 100k to 130k. Revised prescription numbers and quarterly growth rates are included in the table below. Previously reported Group financials including revenues, net revenues per Accrufer® prescription, and compliance with financial covenants on the Group's debt instrument are not affected by this change. The Company is working closely with its third-party data provider to ensure future consistency of data reporting.

With these revised prescription numbers, Shield is revisiting its previously communicated guidance and plans to provide additional updates at the time of the Company's final results, expected to be published in April 2024. Shield has also undertaken several important measures to manage its cash flow, including the reduction of operating expenses, and working capital enhancements, to provide the necessary resources with the aim of turning cash flow positive in the second half of 2025.”

Share price drops from 6p to 2p.

30/4/24 $10m invoice factoring deal announced.
3/7/24 $5.7m milestone deal announced.
Also several approvals of Accrufer/Feraccru plus prescription growth accelerating.

Share price still below 5p. Until Monday.

I repeat my warning about the leech and parasite PURCHASEATTHETOP. Many have become his blind disciples. Over on ENET I warned everyone and was mocked. Same happened on ITX and BUSHVELD to name a few. He simply posts all day everyday with what may appear to be sensible information. It isn’t. Look at his posting history pattern since 2020.

The importance of the $5.7m China milestone payment being revenue Q3 24 can be seen thus:

Minimum revenue targets otherwise double equity cash needs raising.

Q3 24. $22.5m. Less $5.7m is $16.8m. H1 24 was $12m so that is done.
Q4 24. $31.5m. Less $5.7m is $25.8m. H1 24 was $12m so only $13.8m needed H2. Aversge of $6.9m per quarter. Q2 24 was $7.5m so that is done.
Q1 25. $38.9m. Less $5.7m is $32.8m. Q2 24 was $7.5m so only $25.3m needed. Aversge $8.4m per quarter. That is easy.
Q2 25. $45.7m. Less $5.7m is $40m. Average of $10m a quarter. That is easy.

So, we can see that the covenants are in the bag and not a challenge.

For the sudden influx of bitter (ex)ENET holders/those that have a gripe with PATT; the numbers speak for themselves here at STX. It's all in the open. There are many here that know the business, the issues, and the prospects well having been here a long time through the ups and downs and are thus not at risk of being misled into buying or into selling by ad hominem. STX is an excellent recovery play for multiple reasons so, do us all a huge favour, stop clogging up this board with all your garbage and do one back to either the ENET board or elsewhere. Alternatively buy some STX shares, and take a seat at the back quietly unless you have something worthwhile to add. You may just make your ENET losses back and some.

God help them if there's an STX Telegram channel. On the ENET one he posted 50 or 60 times a day (plus 20 or so daily posts on ADVFN). His handle is "Rich Bob" but still not that many people realised it was Richard Bobath the fraudster .. he got booted out after all his research turned out to be complete fantasy nonsense

There are only ever a handful of boards that attract the green investor. They will often have some form of long term guru figure making suggestive comments like "join the dots". There will be tens of thousands of posts and almost no analysis, though to be fair that is normally because there is no revenue to do any analysis on. I think Gulf Keystone was the daddy, especially when it was on the way to bankruptcy. Great short that, and a fantastic long after the restructuring.

We're in a bit of a holding zone right now, where it is only a very narrow range of possibilities that makes the current price fair value. I guess a narrow miss? On target or any kind of beat, even a big one and we'll get to 6p where there will be a big turnover of shares IMO. A miss and its back to 2p. Of course people have different ideas about what on target is so I'm speculating to no end!

Bounce off 50 day I mentioned in 14673 continuing in steady fashion. 20 day starting to move up again too and 200 day won't be too far behind at this rate. Pleasing base being set up technically for a stronger rise should those forthcoming scrip and price numbers be satisfactory. Very good commentary elsewhere too on how the AOP advance for the China milestone payment makes a material difference to the prospect of SWK requirements being met. Ducks in a row.
