26/1/2016 09:00 | good report in todays Daily Telegraph business. Saudi and Russia making the right noises about a deal. Saudi say that if production is not collectively cut from todays level (96m barrels/day), then the reduced investment will lead to a huge oil price spike in the future. Future demand is set to rise to 112m barrels / day by 2040. The message is very clear. Sell your house, move into a tent, and invest the cash in RDSB shares if you wish to make your family rich. | careful

25/1/2016 21:25 | Voted YES to the deal as an RDSB long-term income investor (rather than a day-trader) who believes that assembling a huge market position in LNG over the years ahead will be the key to Shell building positive cash flow ever higher. LNG-based energy policies in the UK are representative of wider moves to bridge the gap between decommissioning dirty coal-fired electrical generation and immature green / unwelcome nuclear alternatives. | fjgooner
25/1/2016 20:34 | Shorters gamble the exdiv drop compensates for paying the div. EI, maybe better to wait it out without clear signals. Although I read there's more bullish bets on oil now than there's been in 6 months. | whiskeyinthejar
